Hmm I called Beautiful Bride when I was making my appointments and they said I didn't need to make one for this Friday! Steph - Personally, I would feel the same as you. If it was a week-long trip, I don't think I'd have a problem with a guy outing. But for 3 days? There's prob already a lot going on, and you'd want to get as much time with friends and family as possible when down there. I don't think you're being stupid at all! I actually think it's really great that you told your FI how you felt about it and that he was so understanding. I think a guys' weekend before the wedding is a great idea - in fact that's what my FI is planning to do!

Good luck K! Let me know how you do with the TA. We are still (un)patiently waiting for group prices from our TA for our dates. I've found a bunch online, and they are quite good from Toronto (for first week of may anyway) but it's the Calgary $ that I'm worried about. I don't think you're too late in booking at all! We've only just booked the resort, and all our potential dates were free. Melani, the wedding coordinator at DPB, is amazing!! She responds super quickly so that should help along the booking process! Let me know if you have any questions about anything!

Oh that's exciting Boo! (and congrats on the 4 months mark!) Why can't they size an eternity ring? Is it because there are jewels all the way around it? Great thread! I am 5'0 exactly, and I know I will need to have my dress hemmed no matter what I am going wedding dress shopping this Friday, and once I find my dress I will be sure to post pics here for other petite brides to see!!

Congrats and welcome Alexander! Choosing a resort is not easy, never mind narrowing it down to a country! We looked at our budget and how far different places were from different cities in Canada (we didn't want people flying more than 8 hours to our location).
