  7. Silly question maybe..how are some brides all set on a resort and wedding date if not officially booked yet? I ask bc Ive seen talk about prices not being out etc on their resort. Are they booking with just a deposit to a TA?
  8. Silly question maybe..how are you all set on a resort and wedding date if youre not officially booked yet? How do you go about sending STD's?

So I emailed them back and told them what colors I thought were closer from their color swatch. I thought t45 or even t46 (but that is not shiny) would make a better match. They replied:You're right,t45 is better. Now I'm kind of doubting them about the whole color thing, lol. So if you guys have some time to spare could you please tell me which one do you think is closest to the pale nude? Here's the color swatch that was emailed to me: here's the dress in pale nude: TIA I see the T27 but not T42. T45 is close too. It's so hard to tell exact on the computer. Maybe she can mail you some swatches if color is very important to you. Can't hurt to ask!

She emailed me right back this morning with pictures asking if everything looked good. I am not sure if this is "finished" or she just sent me the most recent "in progress" pictures because when I first opened the pictures I was so unhappy! The front looks almost worse then the first pictures they sent me. It looks more sloppy, you can totally see the pin marks, and the rouching on the bodice looks almost invisible (espeically to the right side) and sloppy. The more I have looked at the pictures the dress has grown on me but I still feel kind of down about it : ( The back looks fab in my opinion!! But thats only half of the dress :/ My wedding is in October and I was going to use this as my main dress so I am unsure what to do next. If I keep sending changes it can just take longer and longer, and I do not want to be stuck with a dress I dislike, let alone pay the remainding $120 if I do not like it. honest thoughts girls? am i being too picky? sort of bummed right now : ( Here are the pictures she just sent me. The last picture is the original dress on a girl (not me), but it shows how the rouching transcends into the pick-ups the way I want it vs. how my dress looks. My dress looks like its two pieces in the picture, where the rouching stops. I like it...it's so hard seeing it on a mannequin and not a real person. It looks like she got rid of the band that you didn't like. I think you should tell her your concerns and see what else she can do. I think it looks very pretty though..but YOU have to like it!

Youre right, I just realized today that they do weddings every day, not just weekends so I will give a bit more time.
  12. So we had about 5 resorts that we narrowed down..and finally narrowed it down to the one we loved the most. Only now it's been a week and I still haven't heard from the wedding coordinator. I've tried several different email addresses, even brides that are getting married there have given me the the email they use. Ok so it only has been about a week but I've heard from the coordinators at the other resorts..just of course not the one we want! So my question is..would this be a reason to start all over and find another resort..or should I give it a little more time ? We need the wedding date before we can book out stay I just want to get things going! Thanks

  14. We were set on a Saturday when we were going to get married locally, but now that we chose to have a destination wedding..we aren't sure if we should still stick to the Saturday, or go with another day. I notice a lot of resorts do weddings every day. How important is the day of the week to choose? Are there "less busy" days? And what day did you choose? Any input on this would be greatly appreciated!

I just want to pick a date so we can book the hotel. I guess she must be very busy. My email is [email protected]

Make sure you tell her your shoes are 3.5 inches. She just says 2 inches assuming your shoes are 2 inches. Then she said (at least in my email) please let me know if your shoes are taller than 2 inches. Hope this helps!
