  1. I like the limes..the peacock feathers are pretty...I think it needs more something on top.
  2. I'm going to make a suggestion ..maybe the mods can combine this page with http://bestdestinationwedding.com/fo...-resort-27850/ There is good info on both and people post on both still.

Anyone have any ideas? I am not good with this stuff and want to make sure I give them a good idea of what I want. Does the front look a little funny to anyone? I'm still unsure what I think.... looks beautiful! I think the only difference is the straps are thicker in the knockoff so you see a bit more strap?
  4. My dress is lace! I didn't think I would go with lace but knew it was "the one" so ..you never know! I say go with what you love, its your day. Also that Allure dress is stunning, I would wear that in a heartbeat.

It was a cash bar at a little window to a snack bar with those tiny plastic cups and maybe 2 options of drinks. I asked for a vodka and orange juice and they told me to buy an orange juice out of the vending machine, pay for the alcohol and they'd mix it for me. And for dinner we had a slice of roast beef with canned gravy, and gross canned vegetables. I was starving lol. They even did a garter toss!!! Talk about gross!! We had to force the single guys (which were mostly grandkids) onto the floor and when my grandfather threw the garter they all ran screaming lol!!! It sat in the middle of the floor until one brave grandson went and picked it up with an annoyed look on his face lol. I should go dig up a pic....... omg!! This just tops them all..."old wrinkly bride" made me LOL
  6. So cute!! I can't believe how creative you girls are!

I would wear wedge flip flops down the aisle and alter the dress to the heel, but I don't like going barefoot. great idea!

I am also planning to do my first dance after dinner in the lobby. hope this helps Thank you so much for this information. Do you think you would be able to pick your own music for your first dance? Also where do we have the champagne and cake, at the gazebo? One more thing, do you know where I can find pictures of the restaurants that we are allowed for our reception ( a la cartes) ? Were you allowed to choose or is it based on availability? Thanks

Does anyone have any recommendations? Our group will be about 50 - 60 people, and we are looking to have dinner, an open bar, and an area for dancing and speeches. Thanks in advance! Hi! Im getting married there too next June..any reason why you want to go off site? Just curious.
