Hi Rasheda (furturemrstgun), How are you? Hope all is well! This is Joanne from the starfish planning thread. I have been trying to get in touch with you but it seems like my emails are not getting to you. I do see that you log on here every few days so am hoping and expecting you will see this message and get in touch! Rasheda there are a bunch of brides after you waiting on the blue starfish for their wedding, it would be a shame to see so many girls disappointed so can you drop me a PM next time you log in? If the starfish is damaged or missing it's OK, hey accidents happen! But can you please get in touch and let me know? The starfish is replaceable, so I'd love to know if you have the journal and if so I will buy a new blue starfish to continue the passing with the new brides. Congrats on your wedding. Hope the transition from Ms. Davis to Mrs. Gundy is going well, and you and Torry are enjoying married life in Texas! OMG Sarah I adore your photos!! Fabulous photographer!! We hired Ivan Luckie and his contract is 2 months, said we'll have the pics sometime in January. He has already told us there will be no teasers, but hopefully he'll release one we can use for Thank You cards. Thank God we will be pre-occupied with Christmas and New Years to try and put it out of our heads! If you are 8 days past a 2 week turn around time, I would wait until a few days past the weekend and maybe on Tuesday or Wednesday send a nice friendly email inquiring when you might expect them as family are expecting them in time for AHR. Can't wait to see all your photos!!

I haven't started yet but I'm not looking forward to it!! I started making a list of all the things that need to be changed and it's LONG, plus the cost of new passport and stuff. Plus I have to change everything in US and in Ireland, going to be painful, think I will wait until the new year. Also need to wait until I talk to my immigration lawyer first as all my legal paperwork and green card is in my maiden name, so need to know what official steps I need to take, last thing I need is to get deported, LOL! Plus I want to make sure that it doesn't affect anything if I change my name and am applying for dual citizenship, will need to ensure I have same name legally in both countries.

Can't believe it's December ladies, now we are saying we were married last month!! Our 2 week anniversay today, time is flying. Hope everyone is settled in back at home.

I ordered from Babyonline via DH Gate. This was my inspiration picture but I asked them to make it with a jeweled sash instead and to make the neckline more sweetheart : This is one of the pics they sent me : Don't freak when your dress arrives, it actually ships in a thrash bag, LOL!! Here's mine on arrival : I ended up removing the sash and replacing it with one I ordered on Etsy instead, Here's the dress on me the morning of our TTD (sorry no professional pics yet) : When I get the pro pics I will post one or two. In the mean time my advice would be : - Get professional measurements - Specify material - Be VERY clear about any changes you need - Do not expect the dress to be as good as the original - Go for corset intead of zip up back, gives you that little extra on the measurements - Insist on pictures on a mannequin before shipping Good luck everyone! I'm back too!!!!!!!!!!! Just landed a few hours ago and couldn't resist the urge to log in here! Cuddled up on the sofa with my hubby and bless his heart he's watching TV whilst I just explained to him I absolutely HAD to log in here and check for updates, LOL!! Congratulations to everyone one of you, you look so stunning, and all your pictures are amazining, can't wait to see more and hear more details. Our day was amazing, truely the best day of my life and I've never felt happier. We won't have pro-pics for 2 months (sucks I know), but friends and family emailed some pics so once I get logged into work I will post a few. After 3 weeks in Mexico I am still trying to wrap my head around the idea that no one will be putting clean sheets on the bed tomorrow, bringing fresh towels and cleaning the house, handing me a mamosa at 7am, making me food of my choice at my beck and call, and handing me a cocktail menu as I laze on the beach. I just asked Mike if I could place a breakfast order with him for tomorrow morning and I just got a funny look, LMAO! Absolutely shattered now but will check back in tomorrow and read all the updates in more detail then! Nitey nite!

Hi there, we just got back from Mexico today and top priority on my list of To Do's was to log on here. I'm so sorry to report that I never heard from futuremrstgun nor has the starfish shown up in the mail. It's so sad really. The starfish is replaceable but the notebook that traveled with it with notes and good wishes from previous brides is not. I'm so sorry to all you girls who were on the list after me.I have seen rasheda online here so hopefully she'll check this thread and give us an update, fingers crossed. PS : Had an amazing wedding, best day of my life, and not even a missing starfish (as much as it sucks) can take away from our wonderful day!! Sorry ladies but I think it's the end of the line for my starfish. Tiffany (Islandgirl910) sent the starfish to Rasheda (futuremrstgun), and Rasheda confirmed she received it and actually sent me a pic before she left for her wedding, but I have been unable to get a hold of her since and have not received the starfish from her. Rasheda, if you are on here please get in touch, so many other girls on here looking forward to receiving the little guy and reading the journal. I've passed this to 6 girls and just as it was about to come to me for my own wedding I would be gutted to find it's gone missing. Please help get the little guy and journal back on track. Best of luck to you both. Well ladies, I am now unofficially officially married!!!!!! We had our legal/church wedding last night. It was so surreal. We got married in our local church with just both sets of parents in attendance. The church is huge so it was funny walking down the aisle with my dad. I was incredibly nervous and didn't hear much of what was said, all I was doing was focusing on breathing because I was terrified I was going to pass out, seriously! Once we said our vows I was then incredibly calm and happy. So funny to say "my husband", but now we have to go back to fiance until after the Mexico wedding!! As everyone else said, I don't feel any different (happier yes), but we are really looking at the Mexico wedding as the real thing. Mike didn't even stay here last night and won't be moving in until the day we get back. I'M A MRS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL, whenever I get a free min (not too many of them) I try to take a sneak on here, but don't have time to comment! Oh girls the last few days have been CRAZY and we now have our legal wedding tomorrow before we fly out 2 days later. We applied for our marriage license on Monday evening thinking we would get it the same day, but were told it took 3 days (who knew!) and earliest we could get it was today, talk about cutting it close!! I went to pick it up at lunch today and there was a typo (had wrong name for FI) and I almost had a heart attack thinking we would have to reapply and wait 3 days meaning no legal wedding b4 Mexico but after running around for the afternoon getting forms and signatures and delivering Mike's passport as proof we got the marriage certificate changed. Oh man, delighted and relieved but also super stressed as this has even put me more behind time wise! I can't believe tomorrow is the legal wedding. It's so strange we are getting married yet we are not even talking about it or making a big deal of it as we are looking at Mexico as the real deal. I'm not excited or nervous, I feel nothing really and only think of the Mexico wedding and what that means. But yet I will be a married woman tomorrow!!!!! Hope plans are going well for all of you that havn't left yet, and for all you lovlies that are in paradise already I hope you are having a ball!! Thanks for the updates Alysa! Do you know when they say "showers" on the weather report are there at least a few hours of sun, or is it pretty much rain for the full day? Am so happy to hear it is looking good for your big day!
