I love newsletters. I think I am doing one as my invite. Frankly because I will be less frustrated making one of those verse the pretty passports and boarding passes I see on here. But I really love newsletters because they are simple, cheaper, and convey all the information you need. Glad publisher was able to make a pretty one. I will have to look into that.

I would consider doing a combo. Save the Dates Electronically and see how those go. Based on the reaction do your invites accordingly. I always fear that people won't see the invite in the mess of emails or respond or somthing along those lines. I am a bit jaded because I work with emarketing and many times things are spammed, blocked, or overlooked. I love the idea of e-vites but you should tailor to your guests because everyone will respond differently and the last thing you want to do is send e-vites and have to call everyone anyways because guests didn't rsvp online or however.
