I dont know why but this is my biggest area of stress! How many songs should i have planned for when the guests are being seated? And then when else do you play music...just for the wedding party walking down the aisle? Or will you play it at other times during the ceremony? With my ceremony being on the beach I guess I also fear the music not really being loud enough. We just get a cd player. AHHH...don't know why I'm so worried about this!

I'm definitely going barefoot for the ceremony...toes in the sand is part of the fun of beach wedding! I've heard horror stories about heels on the beach, so if you feel like you want to wear shoes, i'd definitely recommend flats.

This thread is such a good idea. My wedding is next May and my colors are orange and red. We're having anywhere from 65-80 guests though so i'll need a lot. If anyone has sashes in these colors let me know!

Why are you selling them? They're beautiful! I'm using the resort photographer for my wedding so i'm not sure if they'll do a trash the dress session but if they do, i'll definitely buy one of your dresses. I just sent an email last night but they sometimes take up to a week to respond. I'll let you know as soon as I hear back.

Hey Lisa, I like that we're only two weeks apart and can plan together What colors are you doing for the wedding? And what days will you be at the Jade? Are you staying after your wedding for your honeymoon? We're having the reception in the bamboo room too. One thing my mother-in-law mentioned when i showed her pics of the room is that it would look pretty with white lights strung through the bamboo. Lights are a cheap and pretty way to decorate. So I might ask Pilar if we can do that. My latest quote was a little over $8k for 70 people, but it doesnt include the extras I want for photography, so it'll probably go up to $9k. Thank goodness we have this forum so we can all discuss this stuff. Pilar probably hates it We're also bringing our own officiant, but when i asked if we could trade that for something Pilar said no tradeoffs on anything. I am going to have to get my negotiating shoes on! It would be nice to have the champagne toast and not pay extra for it. I've actually been trying not to bug her too much with my wedding still being about 36 weeks away, so I've just been writing down the things i want/think of and then emailing her once every other week. I just dont want to take away focus from brides getting married now/soon. Am I being too nice, how often do you girls talk to Pilar? Regarding the centerpieces, i dont think she ever said how many were included. The packages says it as "pieces" not center"piece" so I guess I assumed that it would include enough for the 25 people included in the package. I'll definitely have to ask her.

You are so creative! I love them, and love the orange! Do you mind sharing about how much it cost to do the 25? I'll have to make about 80 but the price probably goes down per invite once you buy the supplies. I just dont think mine will turn out as nice...not a creative bone in me

I wanted to do koozies but i hate that you have to buy so many from the sites that sell them. Good thing everyone on here is so creative.
