    Tracy I am excited for your wedding...there hasnt been a review since May. Do you have your final count for guests and everything?? October is probably beautiful weather down there too!

    I'm having my ceremony on the beach, cocktail hour at festival terrace, and reception in the bamboo room. I thought the festival terrace and the bamboo room were next to each other...am i mistaken? Â Sara I think Las Olas is inside, and im not sure about whether it has a patio. Â It's really hard making these decisions without seeing the resort!

    Ha! I should get a second job too! I hate how all of our guests think we're getting away cheap because we're doing a destination wedding. They dont realize that we still pay per head and for all the extras. And we're covering our wedding party's rooms for 3 nights. It's expensive! Â I should work on our website too...good idea

    I'm using the bamboo room as well. The only thing I thought of so far was stringing lights through the bamboo. I might not do much though because I'm not going to have much more room in our suitcases because of our OOT bags. Â FutureMrsHolt, I hope you'll share the pics you get from your fmil, so we can all come up with ideas!

    Ok since I have my STDs out, i ordered my dress, and have most of my oot items...what should I be doing next? My WC is ignoring me so I need to move on. Music? Ceremony? Are you girls writing your own ceremonies? I feel lost!

    Wait I'm confused about the chairs...$7-$9 per chair?? Even if you purchased one of the packages? Does anyone else think that seems ridiculously expensive?

    shorn, i debated between the dreams resorts and now jade as well. it all came down to price for the guests. Dreams tends to be a lot more expensive, even though it has basically the same amenities as the now resorts. And since they're all owned by the same company now, I figured they all have great customer service. And i think the Dreams Resorts do up to 5 weddings a day, whereas Now limits it to two a day max.

    I dont like that our wedding dates aren't posted anywhere...i keep forgetting who is getting married when. Â $350 just for the use of an outside florist? That's ridiculous!

    We're going to have anywhere from 50-80 guests so we're giving them out at the welcome dinner the night before the wedding. It's going to take me a whole day just to get them all together!

    We went away for the holiday weekend, and I came home expecting an email from Pilar and still nothing! Wednesday will be 2 weeks! Â Lisa, the dress looks beautiful...can't wait to see pics when you get it. Â Thanks for the posts/links about the bombing. It will be helpful for my guests as well.

    Yay Veronica, I'm glad to have a date twin! And we almost booked Dreams Tulum too! Â Welcome elbachow!! Â Primavera, i did the postcard stds from vistaprint and everyone loved them! It ended up costing me $34 for the shipping and because i got the envelopes pre-printed with our return address. Such a great deal and they were so cute.

    Welcome new brides!! I still have not heard back from Pilar...it's been a week! A little annoying. I didnt even think about the chairs. I guess i thought the ones in the pictures were just included. I havent decided if i want the chair covers or not yet.

    Aww I hope it works out for you too! There's no way prices should go up for anyone who paid in full. I'm also a little concerned that prices will go down for my group and we're locked into a higher rate. I guess I should ask my TA about that.

    I ended up getting a Venus instead of a Maggie but when I was shopping I tried some on, and I was told 6 months. I wouldn't wait until January because that's probably cutting it too close with alterations and everything.
