I would have someone set it up for you and help you. You do not want to take on the burden of figuring all that out yourself, or have people calling you trying to get you to arrange their accomodations. Plus, they might find discounts that you would not on your own. My WC in the US is named Precious (really, it is), so when people ask about booking, I say, "oh just call Precious!" If you get a group rate, depending on the number of "nights" your party books (2 rooms x 3 nights= 6 room nights), the bride and groom get upgrades and perks.
