  1. I was just curious, I am thinking there will be between 48-60 people at the wedding, how does it work with how many tables they set up? Is it one long table, 10 people at a table, 5 people at a table, etc....
  2. I have always loved this idea and wanted to do it! The only thing is, I was thinking of our colors being deep purple and lime green. I want to incorporate a "Mexico" theme (not cheesey though) with like papel picado, talavera, etc. Do you think it will look weird if the tiles are not the exact color match?
  3. First one definitely! My dress is similar...its a San Patrick Eresma...and yes I am getting married on the beach. It does feel like a Spanish flair!
  4. congrats! looks beautiful! thanks for the recommendation for Sandpiper films...they look awesome!
  5. Here's the deal: there is no possible way to please everyone, so you just have to please yourselves and do what YOU want to for YOUR wedding. If they want to come, great, if not, we will show you pictures when we get back! I think especially now when it's more common for the bride and groom to be paying for most of the wedding (including ourselves), people have less of an opinion. I have mostly gotten a very good response, and now we have more people coming who we thought would say no! Oh well, the more the merrier! They are thinking of it as a vacation and an unforgetable wedding .
  6. I am having a similar situation. My fiance has one sister who is 30 ( we are 26) and she is going to have a baby in Nov and lives across the country. My fiance was a "bridesmaid" in her wedding (seriously, ha). I already have 7 bridesmaids, and right now my fiance only has 3 groomsmen (although they are all well over 6'3 so they take up more space!). My fiance is considering asking his brother in law, her husband, to be in the wedding, since he has known him over 10 years. My fiance's mom asked the other day if we were going to include them. I just feel I already have 7 girls and I don't think his sister will be all into ordering and wearing the dress or hanging out with 7 girls who are younger and she doesn't know or feel obligated to participate in all those activities. My fiance said he could have her on his side, but wouldn't that be embarrassing for a girl?? I know I could include her in a reading but I don't know. I guess I could also invite her to come over to the wedding site earlier (the bridesmaids and I are taking a boat to the location and relaxing at a spa and beach with lunch before getting ready). I do like her a lot so I don't want to hurt her feelings if this would, what do yall think?
  7. I am getting married at Las Caletas on May 29, 2011. We are staying at the Westin for the wedding weekend with out guests then going to Dreams PV for our honeymoon. Can't wait!!
  8. That was my favorite part! How nice of them to respond, lol! Great job on everything and congrats!
  9. Your dress is really pretty! How hard was it to make the barefoot sandals? I was thinking of doing that for my bridesmaids and myself also. Â
