I have reached out to a TA and Save the Dates (yes a little late) will be going out this week if not next! We got engaged not too long ago but we are mostly inviting family and friends so they're super excited and expecting our upcoming nuptials!! Diamond Wedding Package and we are still debating between dark teal, ivory and oranges or dark teal, ivory and raspberry.. leaning more towards the combination with raspberry..

I originally booked the Amethyst Rose Collection but have since change as a result of changing our colors! May 14, 2011 bride here!!! We are getting married at the Aventura Cove Palace Resort in the Riviera Maya!

After months of being a serious stalker on most of the wedding boards and many wedding talks... we are finally ENGAGED!! I am so excited to be marrying my best friend - the love of my life!! How it happened: Tommy and I planned a trip to Buenos Aires, Argentina so that he could meet the rest of my family & also because I wanted to celebrate my birthday there too! Together with my parents, sister and nephews, we spent many days walking and sight seeing this beautiful country! The weather had been beautiful every single day - perfect spring weather, except for, the day of my birthday. Poor Tommy had so many plans up his sleeve (I later came to find out) for his perfect proposal but when we woke up the morning of my 27th birthday, October 7th, we looked out the window and could hardly see anything because of the rain!! It was POURING! Go figure! Originally, he had a couple of ideas for an outside proposal, but due to the weather, he had to think fast! Being that I was excited to be the birthday girl, I woke up around 6:30 AM (Tommy was already awake) and grabbed my iPhone. I started reading all of the birthday messages my friends had posted on my Facebook wall, until I saw he hadn't said anything to me yet! I looked at him when I realized this and said to him, "Babe! You haven't sent me a birthday greeting yet!" So he said "I know babe, okay, hold on..." When he posted on my wall, he wrote: "Happy 27th Birthday Baby. I love you so much, will you marry me?" After reading this, I automatically turned to him with tears and my eyes and a pout and said "Are you serious?" Tommy was down on one knee, holding a gorgeous ring in his hand, asking me to marry him!!! Overwhelmed with happiness and emotion, I told him "Baby of course!! Absolutely!!!" It was perfect for us - after Plan A not working for him, Plan B and Plan C... Plan D turned out to be one of the happiest days of my life and I wouldn't have it any other way!
