    I am getting married in Jamaica on May 19, 2011. I have secured a date, gotten my dress, ordered STD's (they were shipped today). How early is too early to book a photographer?

    I am thinking about this as well. I have a silky/satin type material and you can't really wear anything under it. The boutique recommended spanx as I am not comfy going without undies totally. I say go with seamless and light. Remember the heat and you want to be as cool as possible down there. I sound like my grandmother now!

    I am choosing to leave the prices out of the invitation. My main reason is because I want people to have options in terms of # of days they stay and room upgrades, etc. I am not going through the trouble of listing that so they may discuss that with my TA when they contact her. I am also doing passport invites but I want them to stay classy and refer them to the TA. My close fam already has an idea of how much it will cost. Also something to consider, if you provide prices, it may lead guests to consult you and not you TA which is a pain as well.

    Lisa, I have referred to this post countless times. You have become my IBRS reference and I thank you. You may have mentioned this and I do not see it today but did you use DIGIpix or bring your own photographer? If you did use them, how was your experience?

    LMBO @ SonyaR! I am sending out my STD's next week (I think) and I anticipate hearing the same thing! I am not worried about it. If they want to make it, then fine. If they can't it will be no hard feelings! ITS OUR DAY!

    I picked out my wedding dress this past week and was thinking I may see something else before the date, May 2011. After reading this, I will stay hopeful and revisit the dress periodically. There is no return on mine so I better keep falling in love!!

    Okay, so I went out today, 1 day after the post and purchased a wedding dress. I tried on several BM dresses and wasnt feeling it but I did see one I like for the TTD. I had no plans to actually purchase a dress today but really liked it and it was half price! A must have! With a little over ten mths til the big day, seems like I've gotten a good start!

    I am considering purchasing a BM dress instead of the traditional wedding gown. For the beach wedding, I do not want anything heavy. There are tons of BM dresses I love that will be just enough! Anyone else considering?
