I hear all the TA's on here (Wright Travel, I think) are great. Visit the Travel forum and there is more detail. I def recommend an agent for that group size. It will save you a lot of stress. An experienced agent should be able to hear our criteria and offer suggestions. I already had my resort picked out when I landed my agent, but in my first convo with her when I told her my criteria and how I made my decision, she interrupted and guessed the exact resort I chose. I was sold based on our first convo and happy to have her to work with my guests! Good luck! -

Welcome to the forum! You can find info on all the places you mentioned here. 50 people is actually a reasonbly good sized group for a destination wedding. Try to make a decision as soon as possible so that you give your guests plenty of time to plan for the big day. I am a May 2011 bride as well! Happy planning!

I had this come up for the first time earlier this week. I kindly said that I can not control where/when people choose to take your vacation, however if you did not receive an invitation, you will not be attending the actually wedding and dinner that follows.

OMG, the wait is the worst part. Apparently this is "busy season." I totally understand that but the wait was rough! I requested (and followed-up) 2-3 times and FINALLY I received confrimation. [email protected] is the email address I have for the coordinator. Her name is Nicole.

sarahandmark, I picked Iberostar Rose Hall Suites because they are family friendly, resonably priced for an all-inclusive AND (most important) they offier ONLY ONE WEDDING PER DAY! That was my selling point. Additionally, the online ratings are great and previous brides on here have had good experiences. Honestly, I didn't do extensive research on the others so I can't really speak to them and what they offer!
