    My hang up is on waiting to hear back from people on who is coming. I feel like I can't do much else. I have purhased a dress that I no longer plan to wear so I am still on the hunt. Basically know what I want. I sent out STD's the at the end of May. I plan to send out my invitations in January and likely wont get a number on people until Feb. I have orders some fans. Other than that....nothing. I have all this contact info for photographers and florists and feel like its too early to proceed. Â

    Thanks Lisa! I am actually looking at a dress from David's that I want altered a little. Maybe I can send them a pic. I did pull them up on DHGate so I guess I can sign up and correspond with them through the site. I was just a little confused. Â Thanks again! Â

    mobayjabride, your pics look great! I think I am sold on Marcia Roberts! Â Your flowers lining the aisle and on the arch look great as well. Makes it look like a totally different place. What florist did you use? Â What time was your ceremony? Â How did you and your guests like Aunt Ruby's? Anyone complain about beign warm? Â

    Is anyone in the metro area interested in doing a boudoir shoot? I have a photographer but I am willing to get a hotel for the day since she doesnt have an actual studio if we could get a few more people to do it. Check out her site at red.mamaratzy.com and let me know what you think!

    LMBO! I changed my wedding date based on my regular cycle. I am now switching to a new pill and hope I don't get off schedule. The only thing about the pill is that I can keep taking it and delay my cycle for that month. I am in the same boat with trying to conceive so IDK. I would rather wait a month to conceive then to be on during the wedding/honeymoon.

    Thanks all! Â If I order #1 from David's I plan to try to get them to make the top into a sweetheart neckline. Â I consulted an overseas "knock-off" dress maker and they said they can make it for a great price but I'm not sure it's worth the risk if its not the way I want it. Decisions, decisions..... Â

    I ordered mine but haven't received them yet. Your look nice! Its not a big deal to unless it is a drastic difference. Can't imagine people standing around comparing the size of their fans! LOL!

    mrsgreene2001: Â We discussed this one a previous thread (not sure if it was this one) and it was agreed that perhaps you should book the room you truly want and not settle for the sake of wishing on an upgrade. Room upgrades are based on availablity only and may not be available. You do not want to be stuck in a room you dont really want. I booked oceanfront. I assume the only upgrade option for us is the presidential suite. If we get it cool. If not, we will be perfectly okay! Â

    Welcome to the forum. I am getting married at Iberostar Rose Hall Suites in Montego Bay, Jamaica! One wedding per day AI and children are allowed (not sure if that matters). TA's on the site have excellent ratings!

    The lobby staircase is mentioned in my package. I will take a look when I get home to see where I saw it. I think they must have began offering it after Lisa's wedding and the rain she experienced. Â

    I am using a TA but essentially they are just calling her and working out the details of their trip. The discount codes are okay to give, but people may feel inclined to speak directly with you versus the actual hotel. People have responded well to my TA and they find her very helpful. I've made it clear that I will NOT be assisting with travel arrangements. I say just get one. It doesn't cost you anything.
