    Update: I sent the pic of #1 with curves to one of the knock-off designers and China. I specified that I wanted a sweetheart neckline. They said no problems and quoted me $150, including shipping. Their reviews are great so I am going to go for it. They sent me pics of a similar dress they've made and I like it as well so I think I have made my decision. Although, I have had my measurements in hand for 2 weeks and have yet to send them over! Â Thanks again for the feedback!

    I suggest contacting resort management if you do not receive it within the next week or so. If she said it should be there then you are justified in being worried. I understand it may take longer sometimes but she said one thing and unless she gives you a reason as to why its different this time, I would move up the chain to see if it can be resolved that way. Good luck!

    Justustwo, where did you get your bouquest. I am on the fence! My colors are teal and purple. I love that your bouquet has so many colors in it. My favorite color is orange and I want to integrate that as well!

    Thanks ladies. I emailed her for clarity on where to send the deposit and she called me back immediately. She said the deposit was to be sent to her daughter. Since I read that on here before I am not more comfy. She also explained that she had not always taken deposits in the past but people have cancelled on her with little to no notice and it is something she now does. I totally understand and never had a problem with the deposit. Just wanted to be sure!

    I am getting married in Montego Bay. Its not a huge deal, I'm pretty much more concerned about the deposit. Â

    LOL! The person I spoke with yesterday said there would be one rate for her to stay at the hotel and another if they had to come back. Given my resort, its cheaper for me to have them come the wedding day and then just go off site for the actual TTD. Curious though because my deposit was 20%. I just want to be assured that I'm doing the right thing by mailing this money. Â

    They asked that I mail a deposit in. Totally confident on her skills. Just a little off that the mailing address was in the states to a different individual. Â

    Love this thread. I am going to be in Jamaica for 4 days before the wedding and need to do something. I will come equipped with irons and products to get me through the the week. If all else fails I will head to the salon at my resort and a roller set and style as needed afterwards.

    Tina, Â I will be arriving at the Suites on the 16th, your wedding day! Mine weddign dayis on the 19th! I totally understand about makin impulsive decisions. Part of me knows its the right thing to do and part of me is like OMG, I do not want to waste money! I impulsively purchased a dress and now I am having a hard time getting it off my hands. Grrrrr! Â

    How did you ladies deliver your 20% deposit to Marcia. I received an address to mail a check but I a always careful with sending checks in the mail these days. Is this how you guys did it?

    I just spoke with someone from Marcia Roberts (perhaps one of her assistants) and something was a little unclear. How did you all pay your deposit? She let me know that it was 20% down, which I am fine with, but did you all mail a check? I am super cautious about mailing checks and just want to be sure this is legit. I am very interested in proceeding with her, I just want to be sure the experience is pleasant as I have read in other posts as well.
