I am getting married on MoBay as well. Let me know if you hear anything. It seemed to me for my phtographer quotes that people typically do not charge that much for the travel. I think since thats how they make their living, the trip isn't that bad for them. IDK, just an assumption. I have a potential hair/make up person invited to the wedding but I'm not confident that she will make it. Part of me wants to give the resort a try and if I dont like it, do it myself. It seems like hiring someone before I get there is just as risky because I may not like it either. At least the resort can do a test run the day before. Grrrrr...decisions!

I have been trying to sell it with no luck. Its a nice simply dress that would work great for a DM. I may end up taking it to a consignment shop or something.

I impulsively purchased a dress that was "okay." I was the type of person that didn't want to get too caught up in the dress shopping. Its a beach wedding and I wanted to stya kinda simple. I visited this thread and it was al over. I spent hours obsessing over dresses. Orderded another dress from Gianinar yesterday so I can't wait to get it and I PRAY its THE ONE because I DO NOT want to go through this purchase again! Moniquw, I love that Nicole Miller and the price can't be beat!

It was my understanding the the bar was already stocked with top-shelf liquor. I hope you dont have to pay extra for it.

National Harbor is great! Old Town Alexandria. I did mine @ Sandy Point for the "beach" feel!

I have mine already and won't be using them until May.. I asked the woman in store and she said they are find for over a year; even the lotions. Antibaterial has so much alcohol in it, I can't imagine it would go bad in less than a year.

I chose Gianinar because they responded quickly, sent me pics of a dress similar to the one I want and quoted me a good price as well. Monica Bridal responded days later and didn't have any pictures similar to the one I wanted so I wasn't comfortable.

I would have never even gotten them had it not been for this forum. I have 3 and have used 1. Perhaps when I get down to making my OOT bags, I will find more use for them. I dont think its a huge deal either way.

We have decided to scratch ours as well. We wanted something casual but all the venues really cater to more formal functions and everything came at a premium price as well. I was so turned off by this. FI was on the fence thinking we could swing it until we sat down and discussed the cost. Now we both agree that its best for us to put the thousands toward our home purchase and savings. We can host a housewarming when we get our home.
