  1. Was look for a specific one and found it but I love the other ones as well! Thanks!
  2. Wow, her response was crazy. Sorry your conversation went sour and your friend wasn't more understanding. If any consolation, I don't think they will even be together by time of your wedding from the response of her SO. If they are, I will be shocked and maybe it is better you found out about this now than later.
  3. I am so proud of myself. I have zero graphic skills and I have a MacBook so I don't even have word. I used OpenOffice drawing program which is free. I was having a problem placing the starfish and my fiance suggested I have it off to the left so then it all came together and here is the final product. Â
  4. I say you should probably tell her no and stress you have a really tight budget and the extra people here and there add up. I don't see a problem for him to attend the vacation part and not the actual wedding like you suggested. Most guys are not really interested in weddings anyways.
  5. They look great! Love the sparkle and I think the size should be fine. When I was quoted prices for a clay bouquet, she gave me pricing for 8in and 10in so I would think 9in for you and 6 in for the BM's would be fine!
  6. I love this dress! No clue and don't even know if I am doing a rehearsal dinner but I definitely like this dress to wear.
  7. I am 7 years older =) He is 19 and I am 26. But in my defense I look a lot younger than I am...more like late teens lol.
  8. lol, i meant the combination of both colors but use turquoise instead...I didn't want it to be overkill of turquoise and orange that it would look tacky but I like the combination of the purple and orange and definitely didn't look over the top or tacky
  9. Teal and Magenta sounds nice! I Think the silver would best since you don't want to overdue the combination. That's my dilemma in choosing. I like the colors of purple dress/orange shoes so I think I might try that. I am thinking turquoise dress, orange shoes and white parasol (not doing flowers for BM in order to cut costs). Who knows though, still have plenty of time to decide!
  10. My dad was killed in a car accident in Feb 2009 so I originally planned to have my godfather walk me down the aisle. I think I will ask my uncle though because I think he would be offended if I didn't ask him and he's my favorite uncle as well. Either one would make me happy if they walked me down the aisle.
  11. Purple/Orange Combination is beautiful  http://www.primadonnabride.co.za/2009/09/purple-and-orange-wedding-colours.html  My favorite one is the purple bridesmaid dress with orange shoes and the bride has purple! Not sure of what colors you were going for BM dresses (if you have any) but the combo is very pretty together
  12. Lol, I am the opposite. I told him the colors and he was like I don't like that idea. He did like it after he saw them together. I don't mind his input but sometimes he has a little too much input. We both agree with most ideas though =).
  13. I like the pinwheel and parasol idea. I am more inclined to the parasols though. I was originally going to get my bouquet in clay and give my MOH my free bouquet since it was her. Now it looks like I will definitely have 1 maybe 2 bridesmaid as well so I think I may do parasols since I was going to do that for my flower girl to eliminate the costs of flowers.
