I like the aqua ones! I don't really think it will be overkill cause of the shell. I'd just be worried they would be really off with both aqua colors.

How are they deciding which bride gets what? The first bride to get married or do they flip a coin? This whole system is weird to me but whatever I guess. I actually would prefer a lunch reception and I hate having to wait to get there to see which one I can get. I don't like the idea of surprises or extra added costs.

I was contemplating moving to a different hotel but I am lazy so we are going to stay at the same hotel. My FI has never been on a plane nor out of the country so he is excited to just go to Jamaica, lol.

I went to DB and they were ok. Not very pushy but the lady mentioned that I need to start looking now since my wedding is in April and it could take 4-5 months. Honestly, I was never going to buy a dress and i don't like to be pressured into buying one. I just went in to try it on to see what I like. I probably will go the knock off route though.

I honestly don't think it is...I would have no problem. I would like my guests to wear white also. I went to a black and white wedding (I wore black) and had no problems.

I have not sent out STD or RSVP yet but just by word of mouth, it looks like a lot of people may be attending. I seriously am amazed about the response and really hope it's less than 50 people but I guess it doesn't really matter cause I wanted a lunch reception since my wedding is at 11am and the free dinner is at 6pm. Then you have people just inviting themselves which is also a nuisance but like a cousin who I am not close to saying she will try to attend. I was in her wedding last year and I guess it's rude to invite her daughter and not her so I will probably need to invite her now. Not a big deal but I made a list and have a good idea who won't be able to make it. I am nervous my "small" destination wedding will be larger than originally hoped but I am extremely grateful people are willing to travel and attend my Friday wedding, lol. Â

SInce my 5 year old won't need 2 full bags, I am using one of hers and I am trying to pack light so I don't have to put everything in one bag. I am a bit paranoid if I put all my eggs in one basket so to speak, something will mysteriously happen to the bag. So I am going to try to put the stuff that MUST go down in FI or my bag and the other things in her 2nd bag. Otherwise I would have my mom or grandma bring something down for me.
