That's probably pushing it way too close since we leave on Nov 21st. What resort are you getting married at? Perhaps we could coordinate drop off/pick up? Just a thought...

LOL ok I'm making the 'executive decision' for our little meet-up since I suggested it in the first place... let's all meet at Giovane Cafe at the Fairmont Pacific Rim. I just love their coffee and hot chocolate and I figure if we're gonna spend about $5 at Sbux for mediocre bevvies anyways, why not spend about the same and get really good ones? The location is convenient for those who are driving (lots of parking) and taking transit (close to Waterfront skytrain), plus it smell like heaven in there! Seriously, has anyone been to the Fairmont lobby? Sorry ladies, should've clarified - lawn chair signs are actually small lawn signs but I got them without the stakes to put them in the ground. I plan on putting them in our OOT bags for people to use to reserve their chairs in the morning (instead of putting a towel on it). It's a really cute idea that I saw from someone here (can't remember the name now, sorry!) Plus this way, whenever anyone in our group sees one of our signs, they'll know to put theirs next to it if they want company  I should be getting my first one this week hopefullly - I'll post pics when I get it.

I wish I could wear heels, at least for the ceremony but the gazebo is booked until 5pm on our wedding day and by then it'll start getting dark. So since I'm getting married on the beach, I'll be wearing flip flops for both the ceremony & reception.

 I used to live in Norwalk!! Long time ago and only for a year though... but still! Fancy seeing another bride from Norwalk here who is also getting married in the Mayan Riviera in Nov! lol  We are getting married at the GPR on Nov 26, 2010... I have so much to do still! We have about 21 people coming but there may be a few more. Bought my dress and should be getting it at the beginning of Oct. Still need to buy our rings, bridesmaids and groomsmen attire, finish OOT bags.... eeeek!  I haven't even booked a photographer yet, just can't decide! We want to bring a photog from our hometown but it's just not in the budget. I'm having a hard time picking one in Mexico without meeting them first.

These look pretty good! My wedding is at the GPR in November and we opted to upgrade to a private reception on the beach. I haven't gotten around to getting menu options from the WC yet. When is your wedding and which WC are you dealing with?

I'm getting married at the GPR in November 2010... so far I've heard good things about it but I'd love some feedback from past brides! I like the options they offer and it seems like you get the most bang for your buck there. Thoughts?

I SO wanted our wedding to be on 10/10/10 but decided against it because I am not willing to risk having my wedding day ruined by a hurricane. It's one thing if it rains, I'd chalk that up to good luck for us. But not a hurricane... so, I went with end of November.

It's so hard to pick a resort, isn't it? We were so stressed out trying to find the 'perfect' one. lol Sounds like you've been doing your research so at this point I say go with your gut instinct. Â For me, personally, I liked the fact that GP is smaller and super close to 5th Ave. Plus it's only 30 mins from Cancun
