    ooh, thanks Hoyt, I didn't realize that it was a 'no-no'. There's quite a lot more rules on here than any other message board I've been on...I get the reason for a points system though. In order to get a pretty great rate we have to book our travel today but I just don't want to do it without knowing what the costs are going to be for a 2010 private reception, flowers, etc. They've got the packages on the website but nothing about extras. Sure wish I'd hear something back from the VIM coordinators. It doesn't really leave a good taste in your mouth as far as their responsiveness.

    were also doing symbolic, and the courthouse here before. I don't want to have to mess with all the translating and FI is from Germany so that is another issue with translation...plus blood work in Mexico -- ICK!

    Ohhh Grand Cayman is one of my favorite places ever! Have you checked out cruisecritic dot com? They have a cruising message board that has more info than you will ever need! Good luck! If you get a chance to swim with the stingrays, I'd say it's a must do. Easily one of my top 5 life experiences!

    This looks great! I did notice though, on the far left of the first page where you are describing the white beach wedding attire, you forgot to close your parentheses.

    Thanks all! I think we are almost ready to commit to VIM. The only issue now is I can't find pricing for all of the "extras" for 2010. I'm a noob so I can't download anything on here. Am hoping to hear back from the resort... If anyone happens to have the pricing, specifically the cost to have a private reception I would love to see it. thinkthink98 at hotmail

    Good luck Cait! Ladies- I'm a noob so I can't open attachments. Does ANYONE have the 2010 price lists? They have the package prices but we are thinking of doing the vow renewal and then adding on the private reception. I can't find the add on (a la cart) prices anywhere on line. If anyone could email me at hotmail- thinkthink98 I would be eternally grateful! We are almost ready to pull the trigger and book the travel but I'm just nervous about not knowing what the private reception will cost. THANKS SO MUCH!

    Thanks for the review! re: Tulum Shuttle: We were just in the area and just an FYI- paid $2/per person for the shuttle from the entrance to the Tulum ruins. It's really not that far, easily walkable, they've just put in a new sidewalk that is mostly shaded. Also note, the shuttle stops running at 5 but Tulum stayed open until 5:30 or 5:45 so we didn't get the ride back. Save that money for a drink once you are finished with the tour!

    I also had this done recently and LOVED it! Was in Cancun for 10 days and it lasted about 2.5 weeks (only reason I had to get it off was I had a bright color and it was growing out) The best thing is they don't file or grind your nails before applying (like solar nails) so there is no damage. I HIGHLY recommend and will do them again for my wedding!
