    I'm biased, but I LOVE the first dress! it looks pretty similar to my dress...Both of them are absolutely beautiful though! also, where are your bridesmaid dresses from? I love them!!

    I would double check this...both my first & second WC told me $25 for real resort guests & $50 for non-resort guests...maybe they accidentally told you the non-resort guest price?

    Your posts made me think of one of my top 2...I LOVED it but ended up being obsessed with another one after I realized I wanted a bit more dress...but its one strap & has flowers...definitely a fun dress !

    This is SOO true...I didn't think that I was going to have the "perfect dress" reaction and then I put THE dress on and couldn't stop smiling, slash got the "bridal tears" :-) So happy for you!!

    I think its hard to not have questions about the dress at times just because of not being able to return it and it being such a big part of planning. Can you go back to the boutique and try it on again? I'm sure you will fall in love all over again!! (but if you're having second thoughts you could always sell the other one on here or at a consignment shop by where you live)

    You'll have to let me know how this goes for you! I was definitely debating between using an outside company vs. using SpaZul, but I think it would be nice not to have to walk and I definitely don't want to pay the vendor fee! Thats a great idea to do the trials at home and take pics!

    Welcome!! Both locations are definitely beautiful...I would say that being from the east coast Mexico is MUCH closer, so if you are planning on having people travel you may want to take that into consideration. Good luck planning!

    I'd definitely like to hear more about prices and feeback about the MAC experience....I thought that the one in Cancun was close but that the Playa one was further away? I had only heard of people having the MAC people come to the resort to do their makeup? Is it close enough to walk and from easily?

    We're thinking about them because their prices are amazing, but I haven't seen too much of their work. I saw a couple small portfolios online that looked pretty good though... I'd definitely love to see if anyone had specifically used them and had feedback!

    I emailed Rebekah last night and heard back from her today about my new one (Claudy? anyone?). She said she is leaving Mexico in a few weeks, and that her last day is "soon" but I think she'll still be around for the next couple days atleast if you email her directly or through the site.

    We're not sending out our Save the Dates until late August or even September since we're doing a site visit for our vacation the end of August...I figure that most people already know our date since we're only having close friends & family so I wasn't worried about waiting

    So beautiful...LOVE the lace!! I found my dress on Saturday too!! (I would post but sometimes the FI checks the forums too! I think he's as addicted as I am!) Its amazing how real it feels now that I have the dress though!! May will be here before we know it!

    Also, just to let you know about this, the Royal (the sister Resort next door to the Gran) does allow children to come to any wedding related events (ceremony, welcome dinner, reception etc)

    Welcome & Congrats! I ended up choosing the Royal Playa del Carmen because it is a beautiful resort and has 2 cheaper sister resorts as well (which are also family friendly). But its all about choosing whats right for you! Good luck in searching through the forum!!

    I know its a LONG forum, but there are a bunch of pictures of the central garden and a couple of the ballroom from a couple months back. I remember looking at them when I had just started planning so perhaps look back to March of this year or so? Lady Di & DianeP are two that I remember having lots of pics of their ceremony/reception uploaded, but there are definitely lots of others!! Good luck planning! I know this forum has been SUPER helpful to me, so hopefully after a couple days reading through you might be able to get a couple pics.
