  1. Hope its better then last week :: almost Friday!
  2. Yep...not included. We actually switched from the luxury to the free package because when we added things back on that we thought were important it ended up being cheaper even including the extra cost of the 5 nights in the nicer suite - mostly because the free package includes a minister/officiant. As far as I know the only other one that includes a minister if if you do the Catholic one at the Royal in Cancun... Â Also, I just reserved my DJ the other day and DJ Doremixx is who is being reserved for us....we just said we wanted the DJ and as far as I know he is the "house DJ"
  3. That's about the timeline I'm planning on...I ordered my Save the Dates today!! plan to send them out in the next couple weeks and then invites after the holidays!
  4. ehh...i'll say like  milky way midnight
  5. pepperoni :: (honestly this makes me think pizza) --> sausage
  6. Thanks! This is exactly what I was trying to get back to! ...my initial question, which was asking about the BDW TA's (which I had hear were great!) before things turned so ugly :-( Sorry for everyone's bad experiences, but glad that we have this great site to exchange ideas on! Â
  7. dislike... Â banana flavored candies/popsickles?
  8. So sorry for everyone having all of these bad experiences! Hopefully it will all work out in the end! Â Can anyone recommend a GOOD TA? We are not planning on doing a group room block, but just want to have an option for a few of our guests who prefer not to book things online and want to deal with a real person.
  9. Question for all of you using BDW TA's...who are you using? and how has it been? I've read a lot about Jennifer, but I guess she is no longer with them...anyone heard of Teresa or Wendy? If you know anything and can PM me or reply that would be awesome! Thanks!!
  10. LOVE! (soo glad its back on!) Â MLB?
  11. Have a great time!! I just got back from my site visit 2 weeks ago, and it was soo much fun! I needed a vacation for sure, but it was different this time thinking about it being where I was going to get married...had a different feel & soo exciting!!!
  12. I've heard different things about this, so I'm not sure what everyone's experience is? I remember reading at one point that if someone had "professional" equipment that they were considered an outside vendor, but with all the talk of having your photog etc stay at the hotel to avoid the vendor fee I'm not sure they could fine you either way?
  13. Sad to see you go! Hope that April works out well though! (and of COURSE come back and check in with all of us and let us know how things are going!!)
  14. haha I should...but bringing in outside flowers = vendor fee so I am just planning on making mine...we're only going to have 6 or 8 tables and I want pretty simple centerpieces so I think it should be easy enough...but good to know about your florist in case I decide that making them is too much hassle!
  15. Soo pretty! and very similar to what I have been thinking! Â Those are beautiful! ...and I'm super jealous of your cheap centerpiece prices!
  16. dislike, (unless its hot outside...sometimes I just can't handle Atlanta heat without one!) Â wearing tights?
  17. on vacation :: destination wedding!
  18. We did the same thing!! We actually figured out that even with the room upgrade it is still cheaper for us to do the free and do everything ala carte.... Â and as far as the $350...I know its a lot and it is irritating sometimes, but I know that at some resorts it is $500+!! Â
