  1. Well, never mind that! I just got an email that said she was leaving and I was being assigned a new wedding coordinator. My FI wasn't surprised...guess that's why she stopped replying to my emails...real professional...
  2. i love 5 below! our has mosquito repellent bands ($1), full-size playing cards ($1), puzzle books ($1), wet wipes ($1), tissue packets ($1.25), especially with tax-free weekend for us, its a great deal!
  3. Thank you, Alison, for sending the pictures! Additionally, for those interested in beach receptions, I read in the fine print that there are extra setup fees and charges for any events on the beach...just an FYI
  4. i still don't have enough posts to open attachments and am dying to see the difference between Terraza Venado and Terraza Mar, any way some can email them to me, please? [email protected]
  5. This is the Ganesh statue that Zuniga has available for $150. They also have a Natraj, but I don't know the price. They offer tenting and draping options that look Arabic/Indian-inspired, if you want to include that for a cocktail hour or reception option. Personally, I don't like that palm trees, but the bright colors and draped booths are right up my alley! As far as indian food goes...I think we'll just go with Mexican, its probably what they do best in Cancun. We will be doing the Mehndi at home, I had no luck finding anyone in Cancun. Hope it helps, girls!
  6. This is great, thank you! Anyone have personal experiences with these companies?
  7. Thanks to damitaprilurcool, I was able to get in touch with a TA from LA (hehe) who quoted me the following rates...slightly better than the ones given by my WC in Miami...which makes me think, is it the responsibililty of the brides to try and find the best rates?? "For your Apirl 2011 dates rates would be as follows, rates are per room per night based on room occupancy indicated and include all taxes/fees: Deluxe Resort View Room: Double: $370.00 Triple: $534.00 Quad: $680.00 Single: $334.00 Superior Deluxe Garden View: Double: $460.00 Triple: $663.00 Quad: $848.00 Single: $425.00 Superior Deluxe Ocean View: Double: $484.00 Triple: $702.00 Quad: $896.00 Single: $448.00 Concierge Level: Double: $526.00 Single: $489.00 You may already be familiar with the "Added Values" Palace Resorts offers when booking a wedding at their resorts. We can of course confirm the same group benefits"

Do they work towards private functions or guest rooms? Even with a complimentary package, you still qualify for the 1500 vacation dollars, correct? Did your WC or WP guide you with this?

Just send them pictures of what you'd like....either inspiration pics or from their site. Anita has been an absolute joy to work with and very quick in responding. It seems they can literally do anything with their workshop. I think their pre made options are cheaper, in terms of decor.
  10. I think if you could substitute the bathing suit for wedding garments, it might trigger "wedding" in your guests' head. Right now, I get it...but only because of the context being BDW

I only need less then 15 so I'm having a hard time finding them. Most places want you to order at least 25. Thanks! Hi and Welcome, Lauren!! As far as STDS and invites go, I went with vistaprint, because I wanted something more value oriented, plus I found a link where all you had to do was pay for S&H. I wish I had gone through zazzle though, I found invites that are perfect for me...maybe I still can...:-)

Hi damitAprilURCool, I PMed you hoping you can email ([email protected]) the document with the Moon Palace rates. The WC can match it, but I think she wants to make sure its legit and not made up. Thank you!

I love the results for my arms, back, chest and shoulders..... Good luck to all who try this!l The same company, Beach Body, has a program called Brazilian Butt Lift. Might be worth looking into.
  14. Aaah! Just did Core Synergistics and I thought I'd seen the worst of the program...boy, was I wrong. Still, results are undeniable!
  15. Ayi-yi-yi! We are just at the beginning of this, and I was hoping it would get better before it got worse, but I guess we will see. You could always say something backhanded like: "I am glad that all things considered, we are important enough to have you join us for the wedding." Hope it doesn't sound snarky.
