  1. Hi Niajs, No, I didn't even pay for shipping. How it works is, I created free items (specific items such as T-shirts, tote bags, pens, business cards, etc... are always 1 FREE) and saved them in my account portfolio. Then when you click through the link, all items are free shipping. This way, if you only select the FREE items that are saved in your portfolio and add them to your account, then your balance due is 0 and vistaprint lets you leave the credit card screen blank. However, if you do anything at all that adds to your cost, i.e. image upload, color backs, etc., your account will be charged and you will still have free shipping, but then its not free...literally.  What I've noticed is that you can basically get every item free from Vistaprint, you just need to google the right link. However, only the repeat FREE items qualify in conjunction with the free shipping. This is because once you click on an other link than the one in my first post, the prior offer no longer applies.  I hope this isn't too confusing...it was very tedious because Vistaprint makes you add each item individually and makes you go through a bunch of pages, but it was worth it to me. Basically, you can get free shipping, but to truly get a no-cost shopping cart, just add (up to 10 at a time) from the traditionally free items below: - 1 Free T-shirts - 1 Free Notepad - 1 Free Pen - 1 Free Hat - 250 Free Business cards - 10 Free Letterheads - 100 Free Postcards - 1 Free Coffee Mug - 1 Free 4x6 Photo Album  PM me if you have ?s

Ivan  http://www.luckiephotography.com http://blog.luckiephotography.com I wonder, am I the bride you are referring to, Ivan? I spoke to the Cancun coordinators as well and they said it was ok, as long as we got you a room...I don't know why my WC in Miami would say something different? Maybe they are playing hardball...so I will pay them more money? Seems a little bit dishonest, if you ask me.
  3. Girls! If you are in NYC, head to the wholesale district and avoid shipping costs. I just got back and picked up 2 dozen sunglasses for the guys. They were $10-$12/dozen and you could get good-quality leather cases. Their inventory is H-U-G-E!! The pashminas were $26/dozen and the summer scarves were $24/dozen. As far as minimum, in-store, you couldn't break a set, so I guess it would be your minimum. Would definitely recommend to check this place out, good deal!
  4. Â Definitely! So far, I've gotten coffee mugs, T-shirts, sticky notes, photo share cards, welcome letterheads, baseball caps, pens, tote bags, welcome books, photo albums...the works! I didn't even have to put in my credit card number!!
  5. Thank you!!! This was perfect and exactly what I was looking for! Â Final First Aid Kit for email.doc
  6. Hi Rachel, I sent you an email for the templates, it's taking forever to download it from here. Thank you for sharing!
  7. I definitely feel the need for an edit button...I was so busy making sure my post didn't have any errors, only to post it in the wrong thread...oops!
  8. Glad to hear I could help out, just bumping this post because I believe their sale is ending soon. So far, I've gotten T-shirts, tote bags, pens, baseball caps, sticky note pads, postcards, letterheads, a banner and business cards...without even giving them my credit card number.
  9. I just got the first shipment today...definitely not 21 days like the site was predicting. The quality is top-notch and fitting for the T-shirts are great!
  10. Hi Jaysan, Just a quick note....posting your email address leaves you open to spam...especially from a MISS DORA. I am hoping it's just a bot and separating my email into two parts will prevent any recognition. Just something to keep in mind :-)
  11. Hi there! I am only a few posts short of being able to open attachments, but if someone could email it to me, I'd appreciate it. my email is my username (ravywedding) @gmail.com....Thank you!
  12. Lol! This was probably a bad thing to chance upon...I actually just visited Target and found so at least $60 worth of OOT items...things I wouldn't have bought if I hadn't found this site :-) Gotta love a good deal!
  13. I don't know if this link will work for you, but I just got an email from vistaprint saying they are giving FREE SHIPPING, so combine that with all the free stuff they give out, you can do your entire OOT bags, for free...LITERALLY! I actually wasn't planning on doing OOT bags, but I can't pass up a great deal like this! http://www.vistaprint.com/bridal-secret-sale.aspx?GP=8/25/2010+9:11:01+PM&GPS=1289544252 Hope it helps!!
  14. I guess its all future MP brides that are reading this? Well, my date is 4.4.2011, but I have found a few things that seem to be helpful...not necessarily top 5 but things that seem good to know (hope I'm not hijacking the thread). Obviously, I can't take credit for any of this...I wish I could give credit to the multitude of brides that I have gathered this info from, so sorry! If anyone else has tips and such they've found helpful, please post!  - Make sure you tell your wedding coordinator at your meeting that you have someone coming with the day pass, so that your guests don’t have trouble getting inside the property, essentially they put them in a list at the entrance of the resort where the security guard is protecting the gate. They ask for your name in order to enter the resort.  - If your guests request king size beds they will most likely be more spread out and further away because there are only so many king rooms per section.  • Get a list of all the confirmation numbers and emailed it out to everyone so they can keep for the records and double check that their dates are correct. (Turns out a couple of people had made some mistakes when booking and they were able to fix this in time.) • Get a couple of sets of walkie talkies. It helps to keep track of key people in your party because the resort is huge. • If people have blackberries, use them! A lot of us were on the AT&T network and we used our blackberry to keep track of each other. • Give everyone an itinerary with all the events. If you don’t know exactly what you want to do, just set up a meeting time at the lobby bar and then decide what you want to do for dinner when you are there. • If you can, plan your wedding during low season. All the restaurants are willing to accommodate larger groups then. • Forget the bubble machine. It is too windy. • Bring lots of change for tips •Use a picture sharing so you can get access to everyone’s pictures. phanfare - All your photos and videos. For life. is great and allows you to download hi-res pictures. • Give the photographer direction on what type of pictures you are look to get. • If you are told to go to the Mercado 28 for Mexican items, don’t bother. I found the prices to be very high there as well. (Even for mini tequila bottles). • Make a list of the things you are giving your WC and include very clear directions on where and how you want things placed. • If you want to add a little something more to the décor, use DECO and rent some furniture. We created a cute “clubby†feel with the furniture. • Get a list of all the confirmation numbers and emailed it out to everyone so they can keep for the records and double check that their dates are correct. We wanted to personally pick up our parents and buy some things in Cancun, so it was very convenient to have it there. (Rent online before you get there because it is a lot more expensive there.) In our Ballroom areas any menu can be served included plated dinners. - There is also a Taco place on the Grand side that has THE BEST food I had at the Moon. They were simple tacos, but they were really yummy!  Are we able to reserve the restaurant area for our included wedding dinner prior to our arrival? Upon the interview with the onsite wedding planner, the couple will receive a list of all restaurants and times which are available for their wedding dinner.
  15. Yes, I think it is a good price. The tree that they have is:
  16. Love it! Very tasteful and love how your theme permeates throughout!
  17. Thanks MrsGP2b! Your input was invaluable...if I could, I'd give you a 1,000 points!!

  19. I emailed both photographers and this is what Cecilia gave me:   "If you don´t want the prints this will not make a big difference in the price, will be only $25 maybe less. I rather do the prints, this way I will edit and digitally retouch the images to print, and we can be sure about the quality of the color and paper. This way, I will be sure about the final result of my work.  Anyway, because I know you have to pay for a room in order to allow me to work at the hotel I can include the digital negatives for free; this will be a $200 dollars discount. I hope this helps! Think about it and let me know your decision"  In comparison, she's still more expensive than Ivan...guess it just depends on who feels right!
  20. Congrats! I'm in a similar situation and was just curious, what offer did she give you that tipped the tide in her favor?

  22. I was hoping to have a post where brides can compare inspiration pics and what prices they were quoted. I've been working with Zuniga for a while and the hardest I've found is knowing whats difficult for them and what is cheaper and easier. I'll start us off! Tree (painted darker), hanging crystals and hanging candles - $40  Fishbowl with blue gems in the bottom and a light from the bottom to let the whole thing shine, a nice beta fish and orange petals on the base - $40/each  $29
  23. Girls, just an FYI, you can use the $1500 vacation dollars on the Collection Packages (Amber, Diamond, Sapphire, etc...). You need to specify this with your WC BEFORE signing the contract and from what I understand, it has to be all or nothing...you can't use part of the Vacation Dollars. I am confirming this with my WC, because this is just information I gathered from BDW. It may help in terms of what you are getting for your money...
  24. My old WC didn't do much in regards to price matching, but the new WC, Marlyn Tobon, got back to me immediately with news that she can match it...so far, so good!
