The flip flops I'll wear for our beach wedding

Guess who's etsy flip flops FINALLY came in?!? Here they are. They purple's a bit more grape-y than I wanted, but I still like them. Please excuse my runner's feet....that 4th toenail on my right foot is actually painted on b/c it still hasn't grown back after my October marathon. Someone's definitely getting a pedicure pre-Maui!

Yuck! I'm so sorry your bonus didn't turn out like you'd anticipated! Keep your head up. Erin, LOVE those hangers! And THANKS AGAIN for the packing list! I've wondered what people do also (especially since the majority of our posts are during working hours...lol). I'll go 1st. I'm a nurse anesthetist, or CRNA as we're commonly known. I do anesthesia at a hospital in a smaller town about an hour from where we live. I put people to sleep (and wake them back up of course...ha!) and do labor epidurals. Love my job most days:) $5/gallon for gas!!!!! It's about $3.15/gallon right now and people are wigging out. ROOOOOWWWWWR. Fantastic BD session! I'm glad it was a good experience:) He'll love it! Is she a fashionista? What about a knockout clutch? If she's sporty, what about a great yoga outfit? Does she like wine and have a cat or dog she loves? They have this awesome site where you can get wine labels made and shipped w/ your choice of wine to your house. I still can't believe you guys are doing the move and reno's. You'll be so busy, but it'll be fun! My exciting dates are: March 7th- spa day with the girls who can't make Vegas March 25th- VEGAS bachelorette bash. The place may go down in flames after we leave April 2nd- half marathon (not the smartest planning, but oh well!) April 9th- we leave! April 11th- We Get Maui'd April 18th- come home:( April 23rd- Easter Run 10K April 30th- Our AHR We still need to: -order FIs ring -make signs for AHR *eat, drink, be maui'd *come up with one for the cigar bar *"love is sweet" for the candy bar *come up with one for the photobooth (anyone have ideas??) -order shirt for FI (found one on island importer we love) -find nice flip flops for him -get my rings replated -buy earrings for me -do BD session -make final vendor payments -start a packing list (anyone have one??)

Whew! I've been away for a day and a half and lots of posts have happened:) Thanks for everyone's support about my sister not coming. I"m still a bit disgusted, and super hurt. But not too surprised unfortunately. *sigh* Moving on... Great! I'm glad you got it figured out. And maybe your donation will be tax-deductible:) These are SO CUTE! Love the saying. You're the DIY queen! Congrats on getting it all done. Great song! It'll be a tear-jerker for sure. It is hard to find songs that aren't super over-played. I heard "Marry Me" by Train almost a year ago, loved it, aaaaaaaand then the radio stations found it and now play it several times an hour. Still a great song, but I'm tiring of it. I'm sorry you're having photog freaks. If you're still happy with photog #2, just go with it! There will always be others. Now quit looking at other photogs;) My big thing right now is stopping myself from over-booking us in Maui. I'm a serious planner, my To Do lists have To Do lists. I want to do all of these active things in Maui, but know we should just take it easy. We have a few excursions planned, and I'm trying to be okay with just chilling. Even typing that I realize how silly it sounds. I really just can't wait to be on a gorgeous island, with my FI, sipping a Pina Colada. We leave 6 weeks from Saturday!!

I almost completely forgot my RANT.... My older sister, whom is about 5 months preggo, told my mom this weekend that she may not come to our AHR due to how close she'll be to delivering.... She's due in June, and the ENTIRE REASON we planned our AHR so soon after we returned was so that she could attend. She lives 8 hours away, and would have to drive since she won't be able to fly. This is her second baby, and she had to even be induced for her 1st, so it's not as if she has a history of going into early labor. Also, we live in large city with great hospitals....it's not like we're asking her to fly to a third world country. Remind you, this is my sister who, when we were trying to plan a DW to Mexico early on, called me to tell me what dates "worked for her" without my asking. I'm trying to let it roll off of my back, but seriously. Grrrrrr.

A notary isn't necessarily a lawyer. It could also be someone who's licensed by the state to perform acts in legal affairs, such as witnessing signatures. I've had documents notarized before, and I just took them to my local grocery store's customer service window where a notary was on duty. I signed the document in front of the notary, who witnessed it, and I think I paid less than $10 for that. I'm not sure if Canada has notaries....but they sound way cheaper than paying a lawyer:) On other notes ladies, we received 7 RSVPs for our AHR already! It's coming up so fast! One of our friends put "Mr. Richard Simmons" for 2 in the name line....LOL! They even included a picture of him. No telling who that could be.... Meggers, those clutches are ADORABLE!!! Where did you get them? I'd think that your BMs will get lots of use out of those after the wedding. Great gift!

FI moved into my house also! I'm in the same boat. My/our house is so affordable and has room for us to grow our family in it, but it would be nice to have a house that we had both picked out. We also renovated some things to make it more 'ours', and he's working on a 'man cave' for the basement. Congrats Tris on the home!! Yes, April will be an expensive month. But a good expensive

I think they look great....and will keep the girls in check. LOL! Your statement about that reminds me of a BM dress I got to wear for a friend's wedding that had an open area around the cleavage. It was gold lace, strapless sweetheart neckline, with that cutout between the boobs. I looked like an 80s porn star. Ahhh the things we do for friends. I also think it's perfectly fine to have all of your girls wear the same dress. Good choice!

I've always said that I don't care what people do for a living, as long as they're the best at it they can be. TAs should be just that....good travel agents!! Good job staying positive about having extra days before your guests get there. I totally feel you about having to watch out for tan lines. Our AHR is 2 weeks after our wedding and I don't want to have a food/alcohol baby in my dress;) Kitty- I hear you on the wedding nightmares. We hired our musician for our wedding in Maui, and I dreamed a few nights ago that he sounded like Stewie from Family Guy. ha! Lua- I posted something on your blog about your running issue. The weather here is FINALLY getting nicer so I'm loving getting back outside on the roads. Teira- I'm thinking I want to see these pics too now! I"ll PM you:) Thanks for the tips, BTW. We registered last weekend for gifts and FI kept cracking me up. His face was completely puzzled when he saw that there really was something called a Dutch Oven. Then he giggled like a little boy.

Great job on the weight loss Kathy! Yes, I am using Latisse, actually started a few weeks ago. I haven't noticed a difference yet but I certainly am hoping for some loooong lashes:) Mocha, that's too funny about the "holy" bikini bottoms. Who all is doing a videographer? We're torn about doing it since it's just the two of us "eloping" b/c we want to show our vows with our photos at our AHR, but I'm not sure I want to shell out $650 for 2 hours of video coverage! That fee is also to expedite the editing since our AHR is 19 days after we wed. Your thoughts?

The beauty of a DW is that it's on YOUR terms.....and the gorgeous scenery lends itself to so much. What size of dress do you wear?
