Wow! 5 days! Your luggage total cracks me up! Great attitude about the dress. It will look amazing, and you'll be so happy you won't even notice IF there are any issues:) Since we're going to be the only people at our DW/elopement, we are taking a limo back to our hotel, changing, then going out to dinner. I've been trying to find a nice dress to wear to dinner, and bought this one yesterday. Thoughts girls? It's silk, so I think it's dressy enough, but do you think it will work?

Thanks Ladies for the kind words! I hadn't slept well since Sunday when I found it, & am quite relieved. Being in medicine for me means I know just enough to be a worrier about worst case scenarios. Mocha, it sounds like you have some great neighbor girls! Brandy, how'd the fitting go? I did my BD shoot last night and it was SO fun! I couldn't believe some of the shots she was getting of me. I hardly recognized myself. We started at her studio, then went to a local hotel room with some great windows. I had a good friend come along who was authorized to give me any feedback on a pose/face/etc. I kept trying not to laugh b/c I don't exactly have a "sexy face". Plus, I had consumed some champagne and wine to unwind after my day. Loooong story short, but I found a breast lump last Sunday, called my good friend who's a breast cancer surgeon, had her feel it and she took me right in to her office to sono it. She wanted me to do a full work-up, but the earliest I could get into the women's imaging place was yesterday so 3 hours before my BD shoot, I was having a breast sonogram and mammogram. Not exactly setting the mood.... But, my results were negative on the lump:) So the drinks started flowing on my way to get my hair done. I can't wait to see the pics! He has no idea. And I have a trunk full on lingerie and stilettos since I couldn't exactly bring those back with me from "hot yoga class". Oopsie;) I'm glad your books have reappeared in the mail ladies! That could make for one awkward exchange if it had been accidentally delivered to a neighbor...

Fmichelle, Mocha, Hutchets, and TLGnchi, THANK YOU for the photobook advice! I knew you ladies would help out:) I may try to bang one of these out today. That VS dress is adorable!! Is is super low-cut? I always shy away from built-in bras b/c I'm not certain they'll contain the girls....Did you feel like it was supportive enough?

Welcome Trisha:) I've seen some of your work and you take great pics! Great advice about the hydrangea wilting....I hadn't even thought of that. Your post about not mixing the Midol and alcohol reminded me of that scene from Sixteen Candles when the bride takes a muscle relaxant, stumbles down the aisle, pets a guest's hat, etc. LOL!!

Um, FABULOUS!! Great idea! Everyone needs a Pool Boy;) Just take your sunscreen for that private island! Had a friend who did this with her hubby on their honeymoon, they forgot their sunscreen, and 6 hours later, he had blisters on his shaved head. Not hot for pics. Ouch.

Sherri I hope your weekend got better:) Hang in there. Once he sees those pics and realizes how much he loves them, he'll feel badly for giving you grief. Then hopefully you can laugh about it. My weekend was super productive! Had my dress fitting, and it only needs a slight alteration in the chest plus the bustle! Finally, something cheap! LOL The bad news is that I can't wear those super cute purple starfish flip flops I had made b/c they're only 2" wedges and my AHR shoes are 4". I bought some 3 1/2 " plain white glittery wedges from VS as a back up, and I'll have to wear those. Boo! Any ideas on what I should do to sass them up? I also picked up the last of my candy holders for our candy buffet, ordered FI his flip flops from ALDO for the ceremony, bought my hair piece and earrings, bought ribbons to go underneath the candy labels and finalized my honeymoon outfits. Whew! Great weekend. But, still no ring for FI! He asked last night if I'd be upset if he got married in a "stand in" ring if the one we find won't be in by the time we leave.

Great job Teira!! Love the hair inspiration pic and your flower will look great in it. You did a great job with carrying the color scheme throughout all of your items. You look fabulous in your dress. Only a few more weeks:)

LOL!! That looks much better:) I'm going in an hour to get my dress fitted with my mom and good friend! It just needed the length done and a small amount taken in around the waist. Super excited! I'm hoping I can use those adorable flip flops I bought from etsy and it won't mess up the alteration. My AHR shoes are 4" heels and my flip flops are only 2" wedges. I bought some 3.5" wedges from VS as stand-bys...but they're not nearly as cute. We'll see. My mom hasn't seen my dress yet so I'm excited for her to see me in it. On another note, FI's in Vegas at his bachelor party and watching NCAA basketball games so I went out with some friends last night. Even the sound of my keyboard is hurting my head this morning. Damn over-attentive bartenders!! LOL. The good news is, my belly will be flat in my dress today. Gotta love dehydration;) Must. Find. Some. Tylenol.

SMOKIN' HOT pics Meggers! He'll love them. I bet you are dying to give them to him! I didn't see any udders in those pics ...autocorrect is funny sometimes. Eli, I hope this seamstress fixes you up! I'm walking down the "aisle" (remember it's just the two of us, our photog, our videographer, our coordinator and her husband who's our guitar player, and our officiant) to "It had to be you". Random, but it was one of the songs our guitar guy played. LOL. I wanted to use "Lucky" by Jason Mraz and Colbie Cailat, but he doesn't know it. Oh well! "Marry Me" is such a good choice though!

Meggers, fantastic dress!! I love the bottom and can't wait to see the pics with your modifications! I hope your BD shoot rocked! Kitty, the bouts look great and I can't believe they were so cheap! Great job. Lesee, Hilarious!! Just don't wear a green man-thong in your BD pics. Sexy time. Lua had a great suggestion to do them for your 1st anniversary. Fmichelle, thanks for this suggestion! I like the look of them. I forwarded some pics on to FI:) We're meeting at another jeweler in 30 min to do some more looking. I still can't believe we both forgot that he didn't have a ring yet. Oops! I just booked my BD session for next Wednesday! Eek!! Now I need to call around to some of the hotels in town and ask if they rent by the hour;)

1. We'll probably spend around $15,000 and yes we included this in our budget. 2. Ours is more formal, but is also a cocktail party. We are having it at this great venue that has both table seating as well as lounge furniture, so it's not traditional in the sense that our guests will be seated all at tables. We'll have a DJ, and it will last from 7pm until our last guest leaves:) 3. Ours is 19 days after we return from Maui. We're eloping (although everyone knows about it) so we wanted to celebrate closer to our actual wedding date. 4. We're having several food stations throughout the venue, as well as a candy buffet and open bar. 5. I'm wearing my dress, and he plans to wear a dark suit with this great purple tie we found. I cannot wait to wear my AHR shoes!!! He's wearing a linen suit and flip flops for our beach wedding. 6. We sent out invites that were semi-formal (if that makes sense). They didn't have an inner envelope. 7. We did hire a professional photographer for 5 hours that evening. She'll start with pics of us an hour before we'll arrive to our AHR. 8. Our cake will be traditional....and he's picking it out. I'm not a cake lover and he has a gigantic sweet tooth. I do plan to surprise him with a groom's cake though. 9. Since our venue is pretty modern and cool, it doesn't need tons of decor to tie in with our theme. But, I did purchase some poms from etsy in our colors that will be hanging from the open ceiling randomly. We also will have flowers and candles on each table and seating area. The venue already has string lights outside on it's patio so we'll use those. 10. We plan to have a slideshow of our DW wedding pics going on repeat all night on a larger laptop screen, and then plan to formally show a slideshow that our videographer will put together including our vows, wedding, and TTD pics.

I may have to order also:) Emily looked so cute in it! On a funny/trying not to freak out note.....FI and I realized last night that we were getting married in 4 weeks and hadn't gotten his ring yet. Oops! We've looked at a few places, but he hasn't found anything he loves. Are any of your FIs having diamonds in their rings? I like that look, but he's afraid he'll be too rough on them. The rings he likes are the $90 titanium ones....which cracks me up about the price b/c he tends to like expensive things. It feels weird to me to only spend that much on his ring. Anyone else have the same issue? I was up late too watching the Bachelor finale and the After the Rose. I was a huge Emily fan during the show, but wasn't so sure after the recap last night. Bummer.
