just a quick suggestion...If you are having a lot of young trendy girls at your DW, I'd stay away from BCBG and Cache. All of my girlfriends are wearing bcbg and cache to my DW. They make entirely too many cuteTea length/cocktail length and mini dresses for Destination wedding guests!!! You might end up in the same dress as a guest but in different colors!!

Hey guy- - I just bought an Amy Michelson gown and it's made with Silk Charmeuse. Has anyone worn this material on a tropical Island I am wondering if sweating through the dress has been an issue for anyone?

Thoughts on Photography: The most important thing you can do is capture your wedding day on film or with it being a digital age... megapixels. We as brides will all pick our best photo and hang it on our wall. Do you want to walk by a photo that is just "ok". A friend of mine just got her wedding pics back she tried to "save money" and she's miserable about it!!! There are areas where you can cut corners I dont think the photographer is one of them!! Good Luck on your search to find a great photographer!!

So, I booked my June 2011 Wedding at the Paradisus Palma Real and frankly, I am scared! It seems the "romance team" is all over the place. They are not consistant with what they say. After paying my deposit for the Gabi Beach, Terrace & Restarant(120+guest) I was told they couldn't honor the price **RED FLAG ON THE PLAY** I had to go back through tons of emails and resend them the whole brake down of what they quoted. Then we had to get approval from someone higher up. STRESSFUL! I recently sent them an email requesting a design layout map of the gabi restarant as well as the color schemes so I can begin picking wedding colors and such and they have been unhelpful. They sent me a map of the entire hotel instead of the room lay out! WHAT IS THAT GOINT TO DO FOR ME? And sent me no information on the color schemes of the room. I could go on forever!! I am interested in hearing your experiences w/ the Palma Real!! Are you all going bananas or am I alone here?!

CONGRATS!!! I just booked my wedding at the Paradisus Palma Real in Punta Cana. It's a bit expensive - but beautiful, and the reviews of the weddings at the PPR (posted on this site) are all really good! I suggest checking it out. Also, the have the Pardisus Punta Cana that looks just a beautiful but is a bit less expensive! Good Luck, and CONGRATS again!
