I thought I would post my brochure that we just handed out on the weekend to our guests as I have gotten so many awesome ideas from this site. We are handing out part 2 in January to keep people excited as we dont fly out until the end of April. The one in Jaunaury will have flight information, excursions etc. We ended up attaching it to a Jamaica guide that we got from the Jamaican tourism board in Toronto, Ontario. All of our guests were SO excited to get it and it was a lot of fun to put together! FALL NEWS.doc

I printed mine on white sticker paper as the FA kits are also white so not really a big deal. I am sure you could get it from any business store and print on it at home...

Is anyone else thinking of going with flowers not from Tai Flora? I looked into Jans flowers from Ocho Rios and they are reasonably priced but I havent really heard of anyone using her...thoughts?

I wanted to send them all something after they booked to keep them excited since our wedding isnt until the start of May. thanks for all the questions and answers as I am assuming we all have a lot of the same ones. Â One of my quesitons is that are we supposed to have the long rectangular tables for everyone to sit at or are the circular ones we could also use? I have also noticed in all the pics that the head table is only the bride and the groom and we want our wedding party with us...

very cool idea, I never thought of that. I bet your photographer could even put a stick in the side and play the ones from the wedding day. I know there are some cheap ones at Costco in Canada...might be a place to look.

Here is our ticket jackets. I got the card stock from Michaels (I think they were on sale for 3 for $1) I then printed them on the cardstock and used a paper cutter to cut the inside edge. We put the quote on the back, which is kind of our trademark saying. Â I got the aqua thread from dollar giant and the real sand dollars from a little place downtown for like 15 cents each. Â Therefore I think the whole jacket for each one costed like 50 cents...not too bad!! Â Guests were soooo impressed to, we are still hearing about them! Â Forgot to take pictures of the actual invitation that we also made and my friend printed as she works at a printing company. Â I have attached our template below. Â

So..... I called again today and they had no record of me calling or placing an order, now I know why I didnt get it! haha However, they appologized and said I would have them by the end of the week when I told them I needed them to send to my guests...so I guess it all worked out in the end, it did raise my BP for awhile though!! Â

Just thought I would give people a heads up that I found a Mother of the Bride rhinestone sticky for a $1 at my Michaels in Canada yesterday that matches the I do, Bridesmaid etc ones. Â They also has all of their t-shirts on sale for $2.99 Canadian...so you can make a shirt for less than $5!! Â Â

I am at the Gran bahia Principe Jamaica and I have to say I am very pleased with everything so far. We got a good rate of $1600 pp and there is lots to do in Jamaica, all of our guests are soo excited. Beverly their wedding co-ordinator is also very nice and helpful. Â We are bringing our own photographer and it isnt a problem, I have heard resorts like Sandals will give you a hard time so its worth staying away from them. Â The gazebo where we are getting married is secluded as we also didnt want people looking at us or having people with speedos on in our pics. I have added some pics of the gazebo that I already have. Â Only thing is that I dont think they have an outdoor recpetion...but may be worth looking into. I hear ya how life can get in the way! I was actually wondering where you had been, lol. Â Thats shitty about the travel agent etc but everything will work out in the end...I have had to tell myself that many times already during this planning process! Â Have fun at your social! Â

We got really good ones from Avon with an SPF in them...I think they were on sale for like 79 cents each. Â

Ours is pretty simple. We printed them on sticker paper and wrapped them around the lip balms.  Here is mine      CHAPSTICK.doc

We bought ours from the umbra site and they delivered it in a week...I think with shipping it was like $30? Pretty good if you ask me....then you have all the wrapping too to bring it on the plane Â

Quick question for those brides who have already gotten married... Â When you had your dinner were the tables rectangle and how many guests sat at each? I am trying to fiddle with centrepieces and seating charts and thought it would be helpful to know..
