Hey all! I'm getting married next year in Jamaica and although I haven't chosen my dress yet, I know I want strapless or spaghetti straps. I have a few tattoos, shoulder, back of my neck and behind my ear. I don't regret any of them (although I'd like to do a little altering on my shoulder lily), I don't want them in my pictures?? Has anyone tried any kind of tattoo cover-up that actually works and doesn't look like a caked on mess? All ads online look like "magic"...hmmmm...doubtful! I'd love to hear from anyone who has used a product or knows someone who has. Thank you all so much!!!

Congrats on your engagement and welcome to the forum! I'm just about in the same boat as you! LOL! We recently decided to have a destination wedding and choosing a place can be so difficult since you can't just drive over and check it out. We did choose Jamaica now and may be honing in on Montego Bay since we also don't want us or our families to do a whole lot of extra traveling. Since you're in Texas, Mexico is close to you and I have seen lots of destination wedding sites with gorgeous resorts over there. This forum is awesome and all the girls on here are always willing to answer any questions you may have. Good luck and happy planning!! :-)

Hey! Thanks so much for the info! After spending a few more hours today looking into Coral Cove, we've decided against it, but only for the fact that they don't have air conditioning in some of the guest rooms. I don't know about you, but in hot weather, a/c is a MUST for me. I also didn't know they didn't have a pool? That's another minus for me. I think we are most likely going to go with RIU..just not sure where? Montego Bay looks amazing..but so does Ocho Rios and Negril! Hahaha! We may have to take a quick trip down there in June/July to check them out. Again, thanks so much!! Happy planning!! :-)

I researched some more about Half Moon and it is pricier than we would like and we will be having nieces and nephews there who are under 10 so a non-children friendly place wouldn't work for us. My friends got married at RIU in Ocho Rios and had nothing but AMAZING things to say about it!! I also received a very detailed email from Coral Cove today and they seem very reasonable with a lot to offer in their packages. What day in May is your wedding? I'm planning for May 7th 2011. Again thanks so much for the info! Your day will be amazing! Post some pics when you get back...would love to see how it went at RIU for you! :-)

Hey all! Has anyone had a wedding or is planning to have thier wedding at either Halfmoon Resort or Rosehall Resort in Jamaica? I'm just starting looking into a venue for a Spring 2011 wedding. I know Halfmoon isn't an all inclusive and their budget menu with all the options is quite confusing! Any info on these places or suggestions for others is welcome! Thanks!

Hey there! I'm also looking into an April/May 2011 wedding in Jamaica! I've looked at a few places online. One that I LOVE is Rockhouse Hotel in Negril, I had to nix this one since they don't allow children under 12 due to the cliffs. Another that caught my eye was Sunset at the Palms.
