Thanks Randi! We have a "gluten free" guest as well but it is the grooms sister so I pretty much gave her the menu for the vegetarian option and I think there was something she could have on all of it except one item. I had no idea the Royal would even know what that is....she would be impressed im sure.

For girls worries about the Red aisle runner, I have already talked to my WC about it. My colors are pink and lime green so there is NO WAY in heck I am having a red aisle runner....though it looks really pretty in other peoples pictures. My wedding corrdinator said that they do not have a white one as an alternate, you will have to bring your own. The Red on they have is approximately 59' x 5'. (Pretty dang big). I have found a place (www.chapelrunners.com) that now have them cheaper than I have seen them for $109 (50' x 3') or $129 (75' x 3'). This comes with a custom monogram on it and free shipping (to the US). I have also seen them at Wal-Mart believe it or not for $20.00 for plain white (not sure on the lengeth). Also, I still have not chosen a photographer!! Yikesss!! We were just going to go with a larger package from the people the Royal provides "Funever" but I looked at their website and was so disappointed. I am a picture freak, and I would die if we had bad wedding photos. We had pretty bad engagement photos....so now I am super sensative to it! Anyone have a quote from Ivan? Also I was thinking for those who say your photog can't go into the room with you, if you are getting the package, you could just use the photographer that comes with the package and use him/her for that hour or two and then when the ceremony is starting, you can use your "real" photographer. Just a thought! I still need to decide what in the heck I am going to do!

Lisa - I am doing a half up half down. Thankfully my hair is pretty straight and I'm getting married in February, so I am not too concerned with the humidity making it a frizzy mess. I also think it greatly depends on the dress you choose. I think the ones with sleeves or that go higher up look best with an up-do, versus a strapless or sweetheart that can support the hair being down! (You don't want to cover up that beautiful dress!!) ChicagoBride - I got a MAGGIE!! She is an amazing designer, and I absolutley love the fit. Personally I like the first one better but where are you getting married? On the beach or at the Gazeebo? I think #1 fits perfectly for Gazeebo and #2 for on the Beach =) They are both beautiful dresses! Great picks!

AMAZING! Thanks for the flower shop! What an amazing idea. $40 is a great steal considering they want to charge $80 a piece for the bouquets. I also am almost done with my card box and wanted to share in case anyone else wanted to make their own. I basically just bought a paper mache box from Hobby Lobby for $3.00, 6 pieces of scrapbook paper for $2.00, A wooden "M" for $2.00, (had the black paint and small letters already), the ribbon $1.00 (which I am using to put size tags on the flip flips), and self adhesive Jewels (2 pks) - $4.00. So for approx $12.00 I have a custom card box. playa_del_carmen_map.pdf

Wow! Great review smckinney! I def. learned a few things. I think it's great that your mom made the boquets! What a great idea. Did she just get the flowers around town or did you have to go to Walmart? I know our Walmart sells flowers...anyone know if the Walmart down there does? I also didn't know about the lanterns. I never saw them available on any sheet. Do you mind sharing how much they cost you? I think its great you showed them little maps and examples - that is GREAT! Thanks for sharing everything!

Hey Ladies! I am looking for 35 Fushia (Stain) Chair Sashes for February 2011. Does anyone have these available?? Thanks! -
Congratulations RunningBride!! You look amazing! I love the hubby's grey suit. I still cannot decide between tan, black or grey for the fiance. I am glad to hear everything went well, even with a last minute trip to Walmart. I am suprised your WC did that, that's awesome! I too have quite a few decorations that I want on the Guest Book table and I have a whole suitcase full of Flip Flops we will put on a table. So you just gave the WC everything and she put it all out? I was hoping I didnt have to get someone in my family to put it all out, but it sounds like your WC took care of everything. I also have a question about sashes if anyone has brought their own. I know the Royal will provide them for 3.00 a chair but I can get them for .89 a peice. Has anyone brought their own? Did the WC put them out for you for free or do they charge a set up fee. I know its not savingf that much but every bit helps. Thanks! <3 Kayla

Congratulations RunningBride! You look beautiful! I love the hubby's gray suit. I cannot decide what color I want the FI to be in. I am also glad to hear that everything went well, even with a last minute trip to Walmart. That is awesome. I do have a few decorations for our Guest Book table and such and I was wondering if the Coordinators did it all for you with no problem, or if you had to get someone in your party to do it for you. Sounds like your WC took care of it. Also I was wondering if you bring your own chair sashes do they put them on for you for free? They are $3.00 a chair. I know it's only saving $60, but hey $60 is $60. I just didn't want to go through the trouble to get them on my own and then they charge me anyway to put them on. Let me know if anyone has done this! Thanks! Kayla

Wow!! I can totally empathize with you right now. The fiance and I booked our day and time with The ROYAL through the online booking forum a year and a month in advance. When we started working with the wedding coordinator she kept asking us to pick a day and we explained that we already had one with a confirmation number and everything (this is like 9 months out). She still was acting confused saying she didn't see one so we sent the original email we got with the confirmation and deposit receipt. She then lets us know (without apologizing...by the way) that we will have to pick a different day or go earlier in the day because now at this point there was already another wedding going on at this time. We had picked the date 2-12-11 (which we think is cool and the number 12 has significant meaning in my family) so we really didn't want to change it. They suggested we just get married the day before or after or next door...like it "really easy to change these things." Needless to say, we sucked it up and just took the earlier time, but our WC asked us to write a formal compliant (in writing) and you know what we got out of it? Hot Appetizers at the Cocktail Hour!! WTF?!? REALLY?!?! YOU'RE KIDDING RIGHT?!?! Nope...that was their compromise! If I was you though and you really don't find significance with the date, I would change to avoid the concert. Most of my guests are scheduled to arrive two days in advance, so it would have worked out fine, we just didn't want to give up that date! Good Luck~ <3 Kayla
