Congrats!! I agree that this is all overwhelming! I am to a point where I don't even want to think about it for a while because I am getting so frustrated trying to find the "perfect" resort!! Good Luck!

Yes!!!! You should register!! I have a lot of friends & extended family that aren't coming to the wedding, so I will probably have a friends shower & a family shower. I just turned 30 & have been to so many bridal & baby showers for friends/family, so now it is my turn!! (Hope that doesn't sound too selfish! ) -

Congrats! My best friend went to Dreams Los Cabos on her honeymoon and loved it! She highly recommended the resort. Obviously she didn't get married there so that may be different but she loved the resort itself.

Congrats! I have a friend who went there on her honeymoon and LOVED it!! She didn't get married there so I know that might be a little different but she definitely recommended the resort!

Welcome & congrats!! St. Lucia would be my choice if I all my guests could afford it! Check into Palace resorts, palaceresorts.com. You can get free functions if you book a certain amt of rooms/room nights! Good luck!

I also thought a DW would be a lot easier!! Right now it is a little overwhelming, but I think planning is going to be so much fun once I decide on the resort. This site is addicting and so helpful! Good luck!

Welcome & Congrats!! Sorry I don't have any info on Riu's, but I am probably getting married in Punta Cana. My top 3 picks right now are Moon Palace PC, Excellence PC & Dreams PC. Good luck!

Moon Palace PC has very reasonable wedding packages. She can also get free functions if a certain amt of rooms/room nights are booked. The only thing is that it is around 45 min-1 hr from the airport. Good luck!
