    Me too!!! I really need to stop looking at this thread, but I can't!! I am really doubting my dress now! I'm sure I will love it once I get it, but the dresses on this thread are gorgeous!!!

    I wanted to do the same thing with the menu & have a spot on the RSVP card for the guests to choose. Do you know if a buffet is available? I just think that would be easier. I am probably going to send out my invitations in January because I never sent out a STD.

    Does anyone know who the photographer is at ERC? I'm trying to decide if I want to use the resort photographer or hire an outside photographer.

    No, I haven't seen Beachgirls pics. I will have to go look for them. I forgot about the foyer! I had looked at so many resorts before deciding on this one that I am so confused on which resort has what!! We will probably have around 35-40 people coming to the wedding. Aren't the restaurants closed for the evening? How is the foyer more private?

    The wedding date I wanted was booked, but I was told that I could get married on Thursday before & have the reception at the Spice terrace or Event terrace. Does anyone know what the event terrace is? If so, does anyone have pictures of it? Yamina said that we could not have a DJ at the Spice terrace. Thanks!

    Does anyone have any pictures of The Lobster House? We will be getting married on a Friday & I read on here that The Lobster House & Agave were closed that night. I couldn't find any on the website. Thanks!

    Hello Ladies!! I will hopefully be a EPM bride. I am trying to decide between EPM & ERC. I prefer EPM, but I don't know if the date I want is available (it is at ERC) I have my TA checking on it. This resort looks awesome & has had so many great reviews!

    I am feeling the same way & I just started planning! I am so over everyone's opinions & just want to run away & get married by ourselves. My FI's BIL is now saying that he isn't going to come because we are having it at an adults only resort & they have a baby that will be around 14 months at the time. He is supposed to be a groomsman, but doesn't want to leave his kid with anyone (although he has a Mom & 2 sisters that could watch the baby!!) I am not a big fan of kids & don't want to have to spend the entire week with little urchins running around!!!

    Ramon is "holding" my date, June 3, 2011. I am so excited & can't wait to get booked. My TA has been a little slow with things & said that one of her wholesalers, Apple Vacations, won't book trips to ERC due to complaints from past guests about the food, service, etc. She is looking into other wholesalers. I just feel like this is taking forever! We emailed her over a month ago & she if finally giving us some prices. Hopefully I too will be an ERC bride!! BTW, is this the only thread for ERC brides? I tried searching, but this one was the I found with the most posts!

    So, I have a dress & no place to wear it!! I bought my dress this past weekend, but we haven't booked a resort yet. We are still waiting for our TA to give us some prices. I wasn't planning on buying a dress so early, but my Mom was in town this past weekend & probably won't be back until Thanksgiving or Christmas. This is the best picture I have. Â

    We were quoted $400/night/double occupancy room. We talked directly to the resort & they said that was the group from now through next August.

    Thanks so much for the info! My FI's sister wants to bring her child to the wedding who will be around 14 months at the time. I fell in love with Excellence back when we first got engaged, but put it out of my mind since she wanted to bring her baby. Everyone else, including my FMIL says to do what we want. They don't really think the baby should come to Mexico either!! Thanks again!!!

    Hello Ladies! I have been narrowing down resorts for the last 3 months & am trying to decide between Excellence RM & Dreams RM. I noticed that there are way more posts on the dreams thread & they have 3 weddings/day. Does anyone know how many weddings Excellence has/day. I am leaning towards Excellence because it doesn't seem as busy for weddings. Thanks!

    I have a similar situation. One of my FI's really good friends is dating my FI's ex. We all hang out a couple times a month & every time we do she does or says something that really gets under my skin. I don't know if she is doing it intentionally, or I am just looking for things, but I do NOT want her at my wedding!!! I just don't know how to say that he can come, but can't bring his gf. Even if I send the invitation to just him doesn't mean that she won't come too! I think I will just have my FI talk to him about it. Hopefully we get some good advice!

    I'm kind of torn on this topic. I was invited to 2 showers, attending 1 for a friend & then wasn't invited to the wedding & I thought it was pretty rude. She had her wedding in another state & the shower that I did attend was a stock the bar party, in which they used that alcohol for the wedding...that I wasn't invited to!!! On the other hand, I have a group of about 10-15 long time girlfriends that I have been to EVERY bridal & baby shower for the last 10 years & my best friend wants to throw a shower for these girls. I really don't see a problem with it.

    Congrats & Welcome!! It took me 2 months to decide on a resort. That is the toughest part! You might want to search this forum about destinationweddings.com. If you just type in destinationweddings.com in the search, there is a whole thread about them.

    I like the first one better!! I think the second one might be a little heavy/hot for an outdoor wedding (if you are having an outdoor wedding!)
