Have you checked into Dreams Cancun? They have a really nice Gazebo overlooking the ocean. I just didn't care for the rooms. Good luck!

Have you looked into the Palace Resorts? I am more than likely going to get married at one. You can get a free cocktail hour/reception if you book a certain amt of rooms. Palaceresorts.com! Good luck!

Congrats!! I am thinking about DR also. My top 3 are Dreams, Excellence & Moon Palace. I love MP, but the reviews haven't been so great.
