Ok I hit submit before I wanted to finish my thoughts on photographers. Octavio and Gonzalo have awesome prices. For me I wanted all the shots on a disc so that was important to me. And both of them give you those in their packages. I can't tell you how reasonable the prices are!

Â Also, great news I FINALLY booked Gonzalo Nunez for my photographer. For any of you ladies that don't have one and are looking for one he's awesome to work with as far as communication. I'm about to pull my hair out dealing with her on this. She asked me to forward her the contract and then asked if they were approved by the resort!! I swear there is nothing but excuses from her or reasons why something isn't good enough.

Can someone tell me if 30% for a photographer is too much for a down payment?? My FMIL is making me crazy! Crazy enough to call this damn thing off!

Lisa- Yes it's my future mother in law. She is paying for the wedding and what I wanted was a small ceremony which is turning into a three ring circus. Nothing I want is good unless she comes up with it. Now we are battling over photographers. I can feel my stress level rise over this. My father passed away 5 years ago and my mother is not in the picture so it's just her and her opinons. My sister helps when she can but I don't feel much support from her either. My FI is kinda stuck in the middle right now and I try not to make him there. I decided over the weekend to take back some control of my wedding, which she is planning like it's her own.

My wedding is on the beach and my cocktail hour is at the Blue Bar and reception inside the Bamboo Room. I would have preferred it on the beach or outside but my FMIL (who is footing most of the bill and pretty much is getting her way in everything) wants something inside. The FMIL is a whole other issue in itself right now. She's making my wedding planning hell!!

I will be on the call too!!! I just want to hear what she has to say and listen to any questions I might have forgotten to ask.

Lisa, I am very lucky that I have a good friend who is going to do mine as a wedding present to me. I haven't completely decided on what I am going to do yet. I see so many pictures I might be literally taking several parts of different bouquets and making them into one. What are you doing?

I'm using real touch flowers. I want to have exactly what I want and not have to pay extra for it.

It took her over 2 weeks to get back to me. She said my email had gotten into her junk mail. I would send her another email.
