Our std magnets are done! We saw this basic design on another std magnet website and loved it, since im a graphic designer I just made it myself, changed some things around and ordered through vista print and saved $100! I love how they came out!

Im getting married at dreams los cabos... we are bringing an outside photographer and there is no fee as long as we book him a room there. they are also all inclusive. hope this helps

Congrats on your engagement! i was so overwhelmed when i first started too.. theres so many options and so many things to consider. The hardest part is picking a location. What i would suggest is pick a date and research the weather for best weather during that month. then start researching resorts for that destination... this forum helped so much with my choice of resorts bc of all the great reviews on here. after you choose a resort and book your date it gets easier and the fun stuff starts! good luck!

ahhhhhhhh i feel so much better now. we're not doing them either and i felt guilty about it but it is too much trouble for something that people really dont need and dont expect. i have heard from other brides who have done them and now looking back, wished that hadnt bc its an added expense, another worry trying to get them to everyones rooms and people didnt use half the stuff in them.

This was so helpful! really trying to keep our budget down by doing alot of things ourselves. thanks everyone!!

Im goin to ask my WC about beach access... im ok with it as long as we can at least spend time on the beach, maybe just walk in the water and get a little wet.. im not much of a swimmer anyway but we definitely want beach access. we were looking at the hilton too because it was one of the resorts that has a swimmable beach but we were looking for a AI. thanks for the info!

congrats! your wedding sounded like it was amazing! your review is really helpful right now because im in the process of planning my wedding at dreams. Im actually just talking with mariana and getting ready to book the date... i feel a little better after reading this bc I am getting a little frustrated with her email response time :/ since reading other peoples reviews on here i've heard that you cant swim in the ocean outside the resort... is there still regular beach access? did you find that it was an issue with any of your guests? i dont want anyone to be bored or disappointed they cant go into the ocean

I have heard that a lot of places in cabo have "unswimmable" beaches and dreams is one of them. Does anybody know if there is still regular beach access from the resort and is it just "swim at your own risk"? Or swimming in the ocean totally prohibited? We are planning our DW to be at dreams and are about to sign a contract and now im kind of worried that my guests are going to be disappointed that they cant go in the ocean. Does anyone else have the same concerns? Are most places in Cabo like this?

Im having the same problem with them! I was talking thru email with the WC about once a week but then all of a sudden it slowed... havent heard anything in over a week and im getting frustrated bc i want to book the date! I think i might just end up calling like other people have said...

hey i have a question for you dreams cabo brides... I have been emailing Mariana about getting my date booked and she has been really slow in responding... I know other people have said the response time is slow but I have been talking to her only about once a week for 3 weeks with questions. The last email i sent was in regards to the budget to get a roundabout number to make sure its what we can afford without any major surprises in the end. The last email I got from her was over a week ago and im getting really anxious because we havent booked the date definitely. I just wanted to know if anyone else had the same experience? Is this normal to take this long to respond to the email? Am i better off calling her? help! we want to book our date! Im not sure how to go about this now

Donie- I know! i thought that this planning would be so much easier but picking the location was definitely hard... we went back and forth for about a month after deciding to do a DW before finally deciding on dreams. I was reading all the great reviews on here and thats what helped us.

HOPEFULLY ill be a june 2011 dreams cabo bride too!! im waiting for an email back from Mariana so we can officially book it for june 9th. Im just starting out with the planning and im alittle overwhelmed! so glad theres other girls on here to talk to about everything.
