    I was told by one travel agent to wait until June to start looking for prices in Feb. The tour operators don't have any prices to compete with right now and they can offer any price they want. I am also looking for Punta Cana in Feb.

    I won't include any mention of gifts on my invites. My parents threw us an informal engagement party/BBQ and through word of mouth we told people no gifts, but we received so many gifts anyway. Most people will bring a gift because it is tradition.

    I think I will want to wear my wedding dress again. Not too many brides get to wear their dress twice. Also, the people who were unable to come will probably want to see it. I went to a reception before where the bride just wore a plain old dress and not her wedding dress and I have to admit I was disappointed.

    The starfish are really cute and I like the idea of the organza bows. Take a look at different resort wedding websites to get some more ideas!

    You could always get organza table runners if you wanted to use the white linens and are afraid it will look too plain. The organza will be light to travel with, but if you have big fancy centerpieces than no one will pay attention to your linens, they will all be looking at your centerpieces!

    Most hotels have table linens. It is a pretty safe bet that the Barcelo has them!

    I haven't really thought about the cake yet! I think I would just pick flavours that I know I like....but I am not really a cake person so it won't bother me if the cake is gross!
