I am sure it has been discussed on this forum but I cant locate a thread. Maybe I just don't know the proper name for this "tradition". So I need assistance. Why is sand collected as a keepsake of your wedding? What is the tradition? When is it done? Is there a point in the ceremony when this is done? Is the sand blessed by the priest/pastor? I'm clueless please help...

Blue and green are our colors.. So something like aqua blue with a light green color. We really dont have a theme. Unless, the word FUN is a theme

Island Girl - I believe it is traditional for the FI to show up with flowers for his bride at the begining of the shower. This gives your shower guest, who haven't met him yet, a chance to meet him. His stay there is brief.

Hello, I am new to this site. My Hubby to be and I are looking to get married April/May 2011. The date has not been set. We are extremely interested in a wedding at Paradisus Punta Cana with a honeymoon to follow at Palma Real. We are nervous since with a destination wedding it is so hard to be hands on.
