I'm 22 and so is my Fiance. We got engaged at 21 but had been together since we were 15 People don't really comment on our age because we have been together so long and are quite mature for our age. You just have to know that what you are doing is right for the two of you and concentrate on that and not what people are saying about your age.

My Fiance and I are seriously considering this resort for our feb 2011 wedding but, we can't find any information on weddings that they offer. Also, it seems like there hasn't been many on BDW to marry here. Should this be a red flag for us?

Hi all just in regards to the theft at the resort. My fiance and I stayed at this resort in October and were unfortunate enough to experieince theft. We had a watch stolen it wasn't in the safe which, was completly our fault but we also had loungers right outside of our room and were able to figure out how could have stolen form us. We repotred the loss but nothing was ever done and it was never recovered.

We did not let this ruin our experience and are actually looking at going back here to get married. Our advace just keep anything that has any value out of sight.

Hi all, Me and my fiance are looking into the Barcelo chain of resorts in the mayan for our wedding in feb 2011. We like the idea of staying at one playing at 3 it gives our guests some options of where they would like to stay. But, our TA has just told us that 80% of your guests have to be staying at the resort you are getting married at in order to marry there and that if they were staying at any of the other Barcelos that they would still need to buy a day pass. Anyone heard of this before? or encountered this in their planning process?

For those of you who did get married at the grand palladium what did your guests pay to get there?

We are having the same trouble. We contacted or TA and the prices came back over 2000.00 per person. Then we contacted itravel and the same resort was 300.00 cheaper. I think we are going to wait a little while before booking for our feb 28, 2011 wedding to see if prices come down a little.
