    I have to send Kudos to 123Print.com for their super FAST printing & shipping! I ordered my doorhangers ($14.95 for 50) on Monday June 28th & they showed up on the porch yesterday (July 1st)!! I never expected to get them so soon. They look AMAZING!! I'm usually loyal to VistaPrint but they don't have doorhangers so I ventured over to 123print. If you need something fast, I'm throwing out my recommendation for them!!

    I agree that Kohl's has some really cute robes as do some other major department stores. If you bought them there, you could always take them to have them embroidered. Another good source for waffle robes is a spa/salon supplier. You can order different sizes & colors. Universal Company & Massage Warehouse are two that I can think of off the top of my head. If you have any friends in the beauty industry, they can order for you at better pricing. I'm not sure about Universal but Massage Warehouse will let the common folks order but the pricing is a teensy bit higher. Hope this helps! Robes are a great idea, btw!

    Hali, From what I understand it is enforced. I remember seeing something on one of the boards about flights getting cancelled/delayed & the wedding coordinator 'working around it' though. Not sure which island of resort this happened at. I personally am taking the 3 days as my 'working vacation' and getting all my favors organized & whatever else needs to be done at the resort before the wedding. After that, it's RELAXATION time!! :-)

    Do you know which island you want to get married on? Old Bahama Bay on Grand Bahama is nice. Marsh Harbour in the Abacos is a nice island too.

    I'm in Charlotte too! (well, actually Lake Norman but close enough - lol) Got a wild hair this morning & decided to see how many NC brides were on here. I'm getting married at Excellence Punta Cana in December. Nice to 'meet' ya'll!

    I have been dealing with Ana with my wedding coordinator & she has responded promptly to every email I send her. I've actually tried to stop sending her quite so many! LOL! I've emailed photosouvenir twice with questions & they have also been very prompt in their response. I hate to hear that you girls are having trouble getting in touch with people!

    I have stayed at Villa Del Arco & it is an AMAZING resort! All of the staff was great & the food was very good. Unfortunately the week I was there, I didn't see any weddings so I can't comment on that. I would definitely go back again!

    I think I'm going to be the queen of odd questions! LOL! I figured I'd try this post first before I posted a new thread with the title of 'mosquitoes'. Does anyone know if the mosquito's are a year-round problem in Punta Cana? I've read several posts about them & was just curious.

    Thanks Tracy! I've managed to find another site listing the green fees @ Cocotal as $85USD. I need to do more research on this. Surely people have played down there & not broken the bank doing it! LOL

    I was shocked myself! That's per person. These rates came from Golf Reservation Center. Their site is: Golf Reservation Center | Book Golf in Dominican Republic. The price includes transportation to/from the resorts, green fees, cart fees & range balls but it still seems unusually high to me. I'm not even sure how much additional it costs to rent clubs.

    My FI & several other male wedding guests are interested in playing golf while we're in Punta Cana. I've received info from the golf reservation center & the green fees are astronomical! Does anyone know if there are any 'discount' green fees in Punta Cana or if you can book directly with the pro shops at each course. I promised my FI I'd research this a little bit before he gave up on the idea entirely. He's not comfy asking people to pay $200+ for a round of golf....

    Like Trose, we have some good rates at Excellence as well even though we are booking through a discounter. Our guests have been quoted $1528/per couple for 7 days. Airfare is still pricey so I'm keeping an eye on that.

    I agree with the other girls! It's your day & you can do whatever makes you happiest. My FI & I have actually discussed walking together down the aisle but we haven't decided for sure yet.

    EPC brides: Not sure if it's OK to start a new thread or not & I hope I'm not offending anyone but I just thought it was really tough to navigate the old thread which was started FOREVER ago! Hope nobody minds!
