  1. selassie, doorhangers are for the resort. The guest can put them on their door instead of the boring 'Do not Disturb' signs that the resort provides. I'll work on pics ladies!
  2. Thanks for sharing! Everything looks great!! If you don't mind my asking, where did you purchase your FI's ring? Online or jewelry store? We're currently on the hunt for one.
  3. Ditto, Ditto, Ditto! I'm not a big makeup wearer either & the most complicated thing I can do with my own hair is a ponytail - lol! I was just in a wedding & I had a friend who is a make-up artist give me some good lessons beforehand. I plan to do the same thing with her again for my 'beach wedding look.'
  4. I'm a year older. FI is 36, I'm 37
  5. Yes! I did them on Vista. I have my wedding invites already, just haven't gotten around to posting them. FI didn't want anything that screamed wedding so I got creative with them too. I ordered them last Sunday & they got to me on Friday. I'm pretty impressed at how fast Vista works sometimes!
  6. Congratulations Maggie! Welcome to BDW!!
  7. I'm still tinkering w/mine. Trying to keep it very simple. I'm jealous of some of the monograms out here! http://
  8. Sorry for the pic quality! These were done as postcards & sent out to everyone. http://
  9. I found this dress online & went to see it in person at David's Bridal. I don't think the pic does it justice because it looks alot better in person. It's VERY comfortable too! The overlay material actually has a hibiscus print to it, which doesn't show up in the pic. It was a discontinued dress & David's only had it in a size 12 so I have to do lots of alterations. The good thing about it not being available anymore is that it was banished to the $99 rack. The original tag on the dress was $499 so I'm tickled to death with my savings!
  10. This is my first time posting a pic too so I hope this works! My FI did good, I absolutely LOVE my e-ring! http://[/img]
  11. While I haven't been married at either location, I've attended wedding in both. I understand that Jamaica is much easier. Something you might consider if your FI insists on Mexico is getting married legally in the states & then having a symbolic ceremony at the resort. Several girls have suggested going to the courthouse & having the judge omit the vows & rings and sticking just to the legalities. This way it doesn't seem quite so much like a 'wedding ceremony' at the courthouse.
  12. I like mexico's idea & I also like the Deap Seatini! Great idea!!
  13. I'm loving the camera cutouts too! One more thing to add to the DIY list. Thanks for sharing ladies!!
  14. No garter or bouquet toss here either. The few single girls going 'begged' me not to make them stand in front of everybody - lol! I don't think anyone will miss it.
