LOL! My name is Selassie11... and I'm an addict!!! I even feel like it's causing me to think of things I might not need to think of. My wedding planner is absolutely fantabulous...my wedding is not until next April and everything is planned. I mean everything! But the more I look on BDW...the more ideas I get. "Come towards the light CarolAnn...Mommy loves you!"

Nice date :-) I'm getting married the Saturday before at Villas Sur Mer...not far from Sunset on the Cliff! Maybe we'll come celebrate 4/20 with you guys...lol

Just curious...what kind of invites are you using? I'm considering a wood invite, so I was thinking I would need a box as well. Haven't looked into them yet though

Nice! How will you print them? I mean I know "how" (LOL) just wondering if you found pre-sized cardstock or if you will print a couple on a sheet and cut?

Congrats!! Love your date...I've played the number game - first it was 1/1/11, then 6/11/11, then 11/11/11/...and in the end, we had to go with the oh so random 4/16/11, because of my venue and WP availability! LOL!

Wow! THIS June?!! How exciting...Congrats! I'm also a Negril bride AND I'm also in Philly!! Not Sandals though...I'm doing Private villas. You will definitely get lots of ideas and help here...just don't get in too deep - your wedding is in a few weeks! Yay!

I say do something heartfelt and special. You picked her to be your MOH for a reason... The spa sounds nice...could you afford (timewise) to have brunch or lunch with her after the spa? Just the two of you? And then present her with a nice keepsake - I've always liked those frames that say "Sisters" or "Best Friends" a million different ways or have a few sayings. And put a nice pic of the two of you in it? I bet you could even get a frame custom made. I think we women are different...so long as its sentimental and comes from the heart as opposed to "I gotta get you a present so here!"

I've never quite understood the whole TTD thing...just points to yet another way that the industry (photographers & dress designers/retailers) are out to make money. Spend $$$$ on a dress and then trash it?! But that's just me. I will admit though that the pics I've seen have been very nice so I'd say if you wanna have fun with it then just get a knock off that looks very similar to your wedding gown. Check the knock off gown thread and definitely scour ebay!

Nice ladies! I have a 2.5 ct cushion cut yellow sapphire set in a pave band...figuring out how to take a clear pic and post...soon come!

I used Vistaprint for my STD packets - * folded notecards in which I wrote a note announcing our engagement and getting everyone excited * full color brochure with info about the resort and costs * RSVP cards (our guests have to pay a deposit so I need to know NOW) I also added a STD magnet, but I got that from Etsy! I plan to do our pre-travel brochure through VP. Along with Photoshare cards, Business cards with Resort info and our local cellphone number (in case guests need to direct a taxi driver or something), maps of Negril, and a double sided welcome letter with itinerary on the back.

I have a long way to go still, but i'm doing mostly local favors so I plan on taking the bags and some of the contents with me, but I'll be buying everything in JA and assembling there.

You werked that!! Beautiful! I was looking at them like "Plus size?" Chile please! You look fabulous! When do you plan on giving them to your FI (I'm new to this idea...don't know the protocol).

How about a personalized scarf or ear muffs! Oh and what about those instant hand warmer thingies they sell at the gas station (don't know where you live but I'm in PA!). Maybe a few packets of assorted teas...

@FutureMrsYak - I'm curious to know what you're putting in your OOT bags and why you're shipping them out to guests early? Cheaper this way? Or less stuff to lug down?
