We had our wedding at Secrets Moroma on Dec 6th 2010. Everyone had a fantastic time! Here are some of our photos that were taken by Moments that Matter photography. They are truly amazing photogrpahers and were a pleasure to work with. Also a big shout out to MVP hair and make up with Melissa and Edgar. Hello Ladies, I have not posted anything in forever! My wedding is 12/6 coming up sooo fast! I need peoples opinion on the salon at the resort. Can people please let me know what there experience have been good or bad with using them either for a trial or there wedding day. Any idea on prices? I am on the fence about bringing an outside vendor to do my hair and makeup, but I am trying to see if it will just be easier to do it at the salon on the resort. I want them to put in clip in extensions and false eyelashes. Thanks! I hope that everyone is not as stressed out as I have been! Anyone going to be at the resort from 3-13? That's when we will be there. -
hey ladies! i never have a chance to go on here! it's great to see all the fab ideas and suggestions. Our wedding this December, coming up sooo fast! We are finally getting all the details worked out. I have a question on one detail that i am torn ont... Â I am only going to have 20 people including us and I am not sure if it will be worth it to hire a dj. Has anyone had any experience or advice to give? Your opinions are much appreciated! We are having the reception at the gazebo terrace. Thanks!

Hello Ladies! I have not been on in months but I have some questions for everyone... Our wedding date is 12/6 and we are trying to reserve Portofino for 20 the night before for our rehearsal dinner. Celcilia said that it depends if the resturant is going to be open that night. Has anyone had any experience with reserving or planning there welcome/rehearsal dinner? Also, how is everyone selecting there decor for the reception? Are you bringing stuff down or leaving up to Cecilia? I have our invites getting made and will send out in Sept. and JUST got my STD's. Sending them out this week- seems kinda late! All of you ladies are so organized!

Hey ladies- I have not been on the forum for awhile, I have a ton going on personally. I must say that Cecilia has been an absolute NIGHTMARE to work with so far. Long story short she has been horrible at responding to us via phone and email. I have left 2 messages with her and she has NEVER returned a phone call!! She also takes about a week to get back to me and is very dismissive attitude. I have 20 people booked already and she almost gave up our date because she claimed she did not receive our fax with deposit info. This is after faxing it to her 2 times. I would have never booked with this place if I would have known I would have been treated so poorly. I know am thinking that the actual wedding will be a mess because of her poor follow through skills. Has anyone else has issues with her

saza 175- i am from boston! our ceremony is at 4pm at the gazebo! we should meet up! as far as the preferred club we decided that it was not worth the extra $$ since most of our guests won't have the upgrade and how much time will u really spend in your room? Does anyone have any photos from there wedding that was at the gazebo? I would also love to see any pics from a reception at the gazebo terrace. ALSO..... How far in advance should I let Cecilia know about my upgrades? I feel really disconnected from the planning process. I should have done a site visit but we just don't have the time!

thanks everyone for your comments. we are not doing a site vistit hence why i am so worried about the specifics. the one thing i am worried about is little personal touches. it seems like all the ladies on this site have every detail worked out! the last thing i want is to have to pack a bunch of stuff for the reception tables! does anyone have any suggestions for an outside photographer?

has anyone talked live with cecilia? I have signed and faxed over our contract but now I am wondering about all the specifics. how is everyone determining what your reception table decor will look like? has anyone asked about upgrades like the flowers? are the only flowers available the ones that she sent in the package?
