It was our luck to find Ivan. We booked him 4 month before the wedding. The communication by email was very easy, we got quick replies and answers to all our questions. On the wedding day from getting ready until the very end he captured all important moments and created even more by posing people for better shots. Our wedding was not in RPRM but in Riu Palace Mexico, they are almost identicle and have same stuff.

I am thinking to put those 2 together and make a table for 6 or you can put 4 tables together = 8 people or make a really long ones. Â Â vlvetter7 what s your schedule like for weekends?

 SCarp when i gave my card and booked the date i received one price list for 2010 that was in may this year and now when my wedding is 3 months away I received another one with higher prices which is also for 2010. I did fight with WC but she told me that prices are subject to change without notice. So now it about 1000$ more than we planed. I am just letting you know that they can do what ever they want. But i know for sure it is still much cheaper than to do a wedding here in Boston. I will advice you to book anyway in order to get the wedding day that you want.

Thank u girls. I got stuck inNY cos all trains, buses, flights were canceled due yo the storm. I couldn't get a room in hotel, all were booked took me 1.5 hour to get a cab, than I finally got to my friends place. At the end not even one drop of rain. Now finally on a train going back to Boston. Vlvtter7: I live in Bedford ))) do u want to meet sometime?

*Linds* or anyone: what photographer did you use? If outside vendor, how did you manage to bring outside vendor against their policy? I found a nice photographer and I want to use him instead of Calipso. Â Advice PLEASE

vlvetter7 I just received an email from WC, she writes that all prices are subject to change without notice.... I got lower price list from Ael 4 months ago when we met with her when I was there on site visit. That means we dont have a warranty that they will increase them again. Sorry, I am just expressing myself, So pissed.

Dana this is what Gabriela wrote me couple days ago: Private dinner is offered from 7pm to 10pm to up to 50 guests with El Patio menu, DJ and open bar for 2500 USD. Â Ael in May told me 7-11 for 2000$ Â vlvetter7: she sent me a new Price list for Palace resorts but I have the other one that Ael sent me awhile ago with lower prices and it says 2010 price list on both. Â How can I be that those prices are not gona increase again

Dana our wedding is on November 27, 2010 in Riu Palace Mexico. When I went for site visit I liked it more. But they are both very nice and very similar.

Hi everyone. Did any of you hear of new prices??? what should we do? Can I fight with them, that Ael gave me a different price list when I met with her on site visit back in May? New WC just ignores my questions about price changes RRRRRR i'm so mad is much more than I thought it would be. I dont know what to do (

LadyTrunck: the restaurant that has the pink pillows on the seats is the regular buffet were you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is big and not available for private reception. vlvetter7: answering your questions regarding topless women. I dont know about legal or not but I have been in Reviera Maya about 7 times in different resorts/times and every single time there were such cases ; ) Somehow ether you need to prepare your guys for this or surprise them ; ) and see how they will deal with that. Your wedding is in April, high season, a lot of people, more chances... And I never saw anybody totally nude.

Hi guys I back from my site visit. During my visit I saw 5 resorts and met with WC in each of them: Barcelo Palace, Aventura Palace, Paradisus, Iberostar Lindo and Maya, and of course Riu PRV and Riu Palace Mexico. Riu Rooms are the same in both places: Picasa Web Albums - Anastasia - riu rooms please feel free to ask any questions. I decided to switch to Riu Palace Mexico, since I want my ceremony be in the kiosk. Ael said that RPRM will not have space around to sit more than 20 guests and we will have more than that number and RPM will. It has bigger plaza. One of the reasons I want ceremony in kiosk is: there would be no people in swimming suites. During our stay we saw 2 weddings: one on the bitch and one in Gazibo. Around both places there were a lot of people watching. Even Ael said that she will tell people to stay a bit away. I stood about 25 feet from the ceremony in my bikini with camera. So this is how far all spectators are standing. (about 6 women were topless. when i was taking pictures of that wedding, those topless ladies were in my shots. If anyone wants to see those weddings I can post photos of them) Both places are very similar and in great condition. I have booked November 27 at 4 pm RPM. Now my FI is worried about situation with gushing oil. If they will not stop it by august, we all can say good buy for swimming during our stay in Mexico. We are getting insurance and telling to all our gusts do the same. I am crossing my fingers that it will not happen, but my FI says if we cannt swimm and enjoy the ocean, what the point to go there. So in august we eather staying with wedding in Mexico or canceling and switching to other place (may be Riu in Jamaica) Again feel free to ask Staicy

I totally agree with Dana. Your FI has to deal with it. Why it is all happening Now, a month away from wedding?

Sammysgirl: do what you feel. If you care about relationship in the future with his side than go, if you dont care than ignore it, like they ignore your big day. I would be also so angry too in this situation. We had some family issues too, that my side and his side didnt want to stay in the same resort for a week. I could not handle it anymore. So we had a round table conversation with everyone in the family from both sides discussing the problem we had. I hope we solved all of them. We cried, hugged, kissed and started from new page. Now all staying in the same place. So far all good, we had even a big diner all together. So may be it is an option to tell them how you feel. Regardless what they will decide, it is one of the most memorable days in your life (second will be your baby) and it will be AMAZING no matter what.
