What kinda music do you like? Are you looking for ceremoney and reception? I work on my playllist it seems everyday. It's a labor of Love but I have ceremony done, Dinner done, welcome party no where near done and reception is a work in progress FABULOUS!!!! Congrats!

We are going to the courthouse the week before and taking care of getting legally married there. Then Mexico will be symbolic

They are not able to go but i wasn't upset at all. I told each of them that was the only reason i would accept cause it was such a great one!

We did a block and my TA negociated a rate for anyone that books thru her. After we filled the 16 rooms to get one of the promotions (I think it was Bride and Groom stay Free) anyone that booked after that still got the rates. The only risk we have now is if the hotel fills up but honestly everyone who I really wanted there was on the ball and booked. Everyone else we would love it if they came but if they don't I am not going to be heartbroken. PS we noticed a funny thing. Ever since I sentout my invites in August. 4 couples we invited are now preggers. 2 of them have the same due date as oour wedding date

That seems weird. My TA and I booked the block of rooms in Aug and had till mid november to fill them. also we have added people every week since mid nov. All of our payments are due 45 days out. Guests, wedding the works. My TA and I told our guest it had to be paid in full 60 days out just to give ourselves some wiggle room.

Jamie, Did you ever find out about avilability at the resort our wedding week?

I am not having a shower but I am having a Bachlorette. Right now it is set for Feb 26th so that my friends who come in for Rodeo Cook-off can kill 2 birds with one stone

For a Sat Bridal Shower I would suggest Farrago's in midtown. They have bottomless mimosa brunch on Sat and Sun and I have done a shower there. I am also starting my bachlorette there then doing a pub crawl thru midtown since it is all walkable and then a $6 cab ride to Downtown hotels.

Not a lush at all. The whole reason we picked this resort was the booze selection and i brag about it everyday!

That doesn't sound right. I have yoga palapa for my Welcome Party on Sat and I am expecting 75-90 people then I have Zavaz Plaza for my reception for the same amount.
