Cuba Destination Wedding

Amazing job in planning and everything was absolutely stunning! I am actually getting married on December 1, 2010 and using the same colors. My BMs already have their watermelon colored dresses from David's Bridal and I had seen the flip flops on Dessy and considered buying them. Which color did you get them in to match the watermelon from DB? Thanks so much!

sxcT: I wrote to Amanda at Factory 21 and she confirmed that their imprints are actually *baked* on the mugs so that they can last through years and years of wear and tear! I am definitely going with those, and she is great to work with! I contacted her this morning and by noon she had already emailed me proofs of what she could do as a design, and it ended up being exactly what I had in mind! Â Happy planning

Hey!! Your logo looks amazing! I am strongly considering ordering the insulated plastic travel mugs from Factory 21. I only have one concern....As I have read in other treads, some girls have complained about the logo rubbing off on plastic cups/mugs in the sun/heat...Does anyone have any advice on this? Â Thanks! Â

Hey, Just got engaged over the holidays and we are looking for November/December 2010 wedding in Cuba. My sister got married at the MLD in 2008 and we absolutely loved the resort/location, etc. However, we would like to get married in a different resort to keep the memories that we have of hers special, so this one is out of the question. Since we loved the location (beach was WOW!) we were considering other resorts in the same area but need something family-friendly because many of our guests will be bringing their young ones. We have looked a bit into the new Barcelo Cayo Santa Maria, which is still under construction but has 2 phases opened already. The resort looks big but very nice and since we plan on going off-season (Nov. 2 it shouldn't be an issue. However, I haven't seen many reviews on weddings there and would very much appreciate any suggestions!! Thanks in advance!

Living in Mtl, QC and just got engaged over the past holidays. We have narrowed it down to Cuba and still trying to decide on a resort. Needs to be kid-friendly as many of the guests are expected to bring their young ones. My sister got married at MLD in 2008 and we loved the location but don't want the same resort. We are considering the Barcelo Cayo Santa Maria which just opened not too far from MLD but it is quite new and we haven't seen many wedding reviews... Any suggestions?
