  1. Couple of pics I forgot to post earlier - The jewelry... Wedding Programs....
  2. Our reception will be at La Glorieta. The location I wanted was already booked, so I'm hoping this will be alright. Its not covered at all. Our wedding toppers include a groom with webbed feet - to represent 1) my absolute love of frogs and 2) to show that he's "almost" perfect. Some props for the photo guest book. We are going to have the guests take fun pictures of themselves with a polaroid and post them to the book with some fun quotes
  3. I'm getting married at El Dorado Royale at Gazebo 55 with Chocolate and Blue as my colors My wedding dress is from Saison Blanche and I love it!! And my wedding flip flops....
  4. Some of the fun weddings tanks and undies I purchases and received as gifts... My dress from Tommy Bahama for the WElcome Reception we are having in place of a Rehearsal Dinner..
  5. Out of Town Bags.... Included in the bags that I bought from the Dollar Store are: Money / Key card holder Wedding Survival kit with Advil, Pepto, antibacterial wash, G2 singles and bandaids Chapstick Golf balls with our logo and golf tees Koozie Water gun Some Handy Spanish Phrases (free from Vista Print) A card outlining where to download wedding pics (also free from Vista Print) And peanut M&M's in a baggie, that I forgot to add to the pic.
  6. Just as I've read a million times before on here - I CAN'T BELIEVE ITS MY TURN TO SHARE!!! I am getting married January 8, 2011 at El Dorado Royale in Riviera Maya with 37 guests attending from all over the U.S. and a few from London and Ireland. The FI and I are getting married legally in the U.S. in a quickie court house ceremony before we leave for Mexico. I debated getting a "wedding outfit" for that day but since we literally get married and then head to the airport, I'm going for comfort over style. I will be dressing up our cute little maltipoo in a black bow tie as he is one of our witnesses. :-) I honestly don't know what I would have done without this website as I never would have known the things I should have done for a destination wedding. I think I would have just shown up hoping everything was done for me! Ok, we started out with our Save the Dates - which I saw the idea of a photo booth on this site. These are from Magnet Street. Then our Boarding Pass invitations - also from Magnet Street. And I apologize that I can't seem to figure out how to shrink these photos up to a smaller size.
  7. Laurenvuitton - are you going to post a review or post your pics somewhere? Would love to see them and hear how your experience was!!
  8. Yarrow - your pictures are beautiful!!! I have Citallia booked for my wedding in a month and seeing your pics just confirmed my choice! Thank you!
  9. Very creative!! Looks like you have put alot of work and love into your creations. And I love your pic's with your fiance. Very sweet!
  10. Mine is at 4:00 as well and was told by the wedding coordinator that sun set would be around 5:20 or 5:30. Should make for fantastic pictures!!! Can't wait - only a few short weeks now!! Need to hurry up and get here already so I can stop buying things for the trip!!
  11. I definitely understand how that feels. My own father refuses to come to my wedding in Mexico even though they often fly to Germany to visit his wife's family. He says its too far. While its very hurtful that he can miss his own daughter's wedding, I'm somewhat grateful not to have to deal with the drama that comes with him as he's very demanding of attention. When you have 40 people around you, you can't always cater to one. I'm glad to hear they are going to be a part of the legal ceremony though! That shows their support of the marriage, just poor logic on not seeing the actual ceremony. Be sure to send them copies of the fabulous pictures so they know what they missed out on!
  12. My fiance ordered a suit and pants for himself and all his groomsmen. So far the reviews have been the pants fit everyone perfectly but the jacket needed a bit of tayloring. Also, the colors were a little off from the picture (darker) but still a great product. I would highly recommend them as the quality is great and the price is definitely right!
  13. I am walking down the aisle to "I'm Ready" by Bryan Adams. Heard it on my photographers website and fell in love with it!
  14. Congrats CanadianLindsey!! Your not far off at all! Can't wait to hear how everything goes! My WC is Priscilla and we have about everything completed so now I'm just curious how the reviews are going lately so I can avoid any mishaps, if that's possible! :-) Can't wait to read your review!
  15. Beautiful!! I love the earrings! I debated on a necklace for mine but thought my dress was ornate enough and didn't want to distract from it. Though I thought about buying one just to have to match for future wearings.
  16. We are huge Pink fans so we are coming in with Get This Party Started - by Pink. Also thinking I may work the new Raise Your Glass into the first party song after the dances to help get things rocking.
  17. I just ordered my earrings and bracelet for the ceremony from Bella Bleu. I'm not much for jewelry so this took me forever to pick out but I think it works perfect. Simple and classic. What is everyone else wearing???
  18. These bouquets have cala lillies, roses, and blue hydrangeas. Can't wait to see how they turn out!!
  19. Pic of my dress! I just completed the fitting last week and it fits like a glove! Hope Mexico doesn't bloat me out!!
  20. I'm getting married there myself on January 8th, 2011! Check back later for my review and pics! Congrats and happy planning!!!
  21. I love the idea! I think your outfit is adorable and just perfect! I don't want to do a big deal for my legal but want to dress it up a little since it is the "real deal". Thanks for the inspiration!!
