My daughter just had her wedding 08/09/10. We had the deck from 7-8 for cocktails and then 8-11 for dinner. She had a guitarist for the cocktail hour that was superb! We then had a dj so I'm not sure why you would be told that. We did book them through Ana and they were fantastic. Good luck!

PBJWed - no problem. I booked for 30 guests, and includes snorkeling and sunset cruise. We leave at 3 from the hotel and get back at 8:30. That includes an hour sail to the reef, snorkeling, dinner and sunset cruise back. Private chef prepares steak and lobster and we have open bar the whole time. The cost is $2,700. I'm sure I overpaid ... but it's my only daughter! They've been great to work with!

For a snorkeling excursion to Isla Mujeres we contacted the concierge at the resort. They helped us charter a snorkel and sunset cruise for a welcome party for everyone attending my daughter's wedding. I just e-mailed [email protected] and they are recommended by the resort. Good luck!
