  2. Since my MOH and Bridesmaids are all different sizes and shapes (5'0"-5'9" and size 2-, I chose the color and let them choose their own dresses. I picked "Apple" from David's Bridal and so far everyone is super happy with their dresses. This is what my girls ordered: http://img.davidsbridal.com/db/s08_F...ei=460&cvt=jpg http://img.davidsbridal.com/db/f09_8...ei=460&cvt=jpg http://img.davidsbridal.com/db/f09_f...ei=460&cvt=jpg The 4th dress is not available online so I haven't even seen it but my sister (the MOH) has great taste so I'm sure it will look great. It's so exciting!!!!
  3. Really? That's a relief. Anything wedding related seems to have a rather large price tag associated with it Did you guys go to a department store? I have Tiffany's and all the high end stores by my house but I'm scared to go there. Did you look for stores that did only jewelry?
  4. Did anyone try this? She makes it look SO easy! I have Mac store near my house so I want to stop by and see if they will do my make up or at least try some products on me. In the video, Kandee uses SO many products that it will probably cost an arm and a leg to buy. Curious to see if anyone tried and made it work??
  5. Hi ladies, So my fiance picked out a gorgeous engagement ring (I *sort* of picked it but I didn't realize that it was for my engagement ring). It is asymmetrical, gorgeous, with a single diamond in the middle and sapphires on the sides but of course neither of us considered that it would have to go with a wedding band. I have no idea how to find a ring that would go with mine. So I can try to get one custom made (which is probably expensive), wear it on my right hand and get a regular wedding band to wear on my left, or just not wear it... Any ideas or suggestions would help tremendously. I love this ring but I also don't want to stress about the wedding band matching it. (Wow, attaching a picture is quite difficult here!) Ring.pdf
  6. Congratulations from another Marylander! I am in Chevy Chase (soon to be Rockville). I too am getting super overwhelmed so perhaps we can all help each other.

    Newbie!

Congratulations! Rivera Maya is awesome. The only thing I'd warn you about is people staying at resorts other than yours. They are pretty strict there with visitors since most resorts are all inclusive. Everyone has a bracelet for their resort so visiting is an extremely painful process. For that reason, have everyone stay at the same resort. Oh and on your day off, visit Xel Ha (paradise lagoon for snorkeling, relaxing, and swimming).
