I hadn't even thought about asking my MIL to come with us...it was just my mom and my sister who came. I tried it on for her after the dress came in so at least she was a little involved.

I think you can wear them however you like.... you might get a few comments from other people about it but as long as you don't mind then I don't see why not!

Ours will look pretty much like this, it's something my mom had seen online. We will be bringing the lanterns and seashells and a plastic dish to have it all sit in, then will rent the vases and get the flowers when we get there.

That looks pretty perfect for a beach wedding! Go try it on in a store and sneak a picture with your cell phone. I had to do that for my sister's dress - she moved to Australia and couldnt find it in a store there.

I don't know what their reasoning is but they definitely put their sizing up. One of my bridesmaids is tiny and literally under 100 lbs and they suggested that she get a size 4. She got a size 2 and good thing it came with those tiny straps that come on strapless dresses, otherwise I doubt it could hold itself up.

We've gotten screwed around with our booking a lot but it's not been the fault of our TA at all, its been Sunwing that's causing all the problems. No matter what pricing request she puts into them she gets back a response that isn't at all what she is asking for...I'd be ripping my hair out if I had to be the one to deal with them!

Mine are looking like this...but I haven't decided if we'll put them at each person's spot (with something underneath so it's not actually touching the plate) or stand them all up in sand.

We will have 41 people...we were told that the terrace holds up to 5 tables so we'll take up all 5. We'd planned to just use an ipod but we're starting to think everyone might have more fun if there is a DJ. Plus it'd be something less to worry about and maybe things would flow better?
