  1. Those are lovely, I'm not a huge barefoot sandals person, but these ones are so nice and bridal! I've seen some TTD shots with them on too and they look beautiful in pics.
  2. I used my actual one and it came out perfectly clean and stayed in excellent condition. I love that people think the TTD pics are the same day as the wedding pics, and the grandeur of the real wedding dress in the exotic location was something really special to experience. You totally feel like a model when your train is billowing in the wind on a beautiful beach by the ocean! It's surreal I'm selling mine at an affordable price if anyone doesn't want to use their wedding dress for TTD, it's in my siggy. I guess it was an easier choice for me 'cause I didn't have an AHR to worry about having a nice dress for. Though if I did, the dress would be clean and ready to go anyways!
  3. GMac - there is a pretty popular thread of girls who got knock-off dresses for their wedding or TTD shoots on BDW you might wanna check out if you're interested. I'm a little leery about the knock-off route though, I feel like we're paying a fortune for wedding photos, so we need to make sure we look damn good in our dresses too, right Some people have had good luck with replicas, others have not. I'm finicky and can tell by the look of materials that dresses were replicas, or made of fabric from David's bridal. There's something different about the way it photographs. In the end every bride looks beautiful, but I'd personally go with a designer dress at a decent price rather than gamble with a replica from China.
  4. It's from a Canadian store called Bryan's, I've gotten a lot of gorgeous dresses there for weddings, parties, etc. and they've all been really flattering and held up so well over the years! So weird how they look better on me than more expensive stores dresses like Bebe, BCBG, etc , though I guess I should be happy I don't have to shell out $400 for a nice dress every time
  5. Hey ladies, I wore this dress for a couple hours for my civil ceremony back home (before we got married in Cancun). It's in perfect condition and very cute and comfortable, as well as very bridal! I bought it at a dress store called Bryan's. It's labeled a size 5/6, but since it ties up at the back it can fit even a size 2. If you wear a Small or Medium in clothes this dress should fit nicely. In the pictures it's hanging by the laundry strap things, but the actual dress is strapless (as seen in the 1st image) I'm not sure how much shipping would be, I'm guessing about $15. Feel free to PM me with any questions. Happy planning (oh how I miss it!)
  6. Dress B is definitely more "destination" but I think the front part of Dress A does more for you than the other. I feel like the glitter pattern on the 2nd Maggie dress is detracting from the beauty of your face. You look just STUNNING in first Dress, both front and back, and I think it would make for better photos on the big day.
  7. Hey girls! For sale is a lingerie set from Pleasure State (my favorite brand). You can see some of their stuff at www.pleasurestate.com It's a underwire camisole in ivory and the matching garter belt, style name is "Kiyoshi". I'm selling for $70obo + shipping. I think shipping within Canada is about $15, and to the USA is about $20 but I'd have to check. I got them at a local sample sale for a friend, but she doesn't need anymore lingerie. These have not been tried on and are brand new with tags. The top is a 34B and garter belt is a size S. The sets usually retail for $200+ They're super silky soft and flattering, perfect for the honeymoon
  8. I'm selling my Diamond White wedding dress which is in beautiful condition. I popped a dinky stitch that held the hook and eye at the top of the zipper on my wedding day, but it didn't make a difference and I fixed it when I got home It was professionally pleated into a sweetheart neckline and hips taken in for a sexier fit-and-flare look. It was purchased as a size 6, but is more of a 2-4. I'm 33-27-35 but there is more room in the hips, and much more in the chest since it is strapless with a lower back. The important part is the ribcage, where the dark brown sash sits is about 26.5" to fit, on the plus side you look very skinny on your wedding day! It does not wrinkle easy and is not heavy, nor was it hot to wear for a destination wedding. It was hemmed for 5'7" with heels, so it's best for someone 5'5" - 5-8" or can be hemmed shorter. Feel free to ask me any questions!
  9. Omg I got married almost a year ago and forgot how addicted I was to this thread. I love seeing your replicas girls! I was originally getting really swayed to use gianinar because of this thread, but went with a store bought in the end. I love seeing the dresses come in on this thread Are people using them for their wedding dresses or TTD dresses mostly? Big congrats to prettypigpig on her big day!
