I forgot to add... I bought this dress straight off the rack so Davids Bridal will clean & fix any loose beading for free. I didn't see anything wrong with it, but it's always nice to have it looking it's best before the wedding!

I bought this dress right after I got engaged a few months ago. Silly me for buying a dress so early, us girls are always changing our minds! So now I have this gorgeous dress but I am wanting to go in a different direction. Color- Ivory (This dress in this color is gorgeous. Looks much better than the white shown on the website. All of the details really show) Size 12 (no alterations, brand new!) (I am normally more like a 10) Material- Brocade (the entire thing sparkles in the light) asking $675.00 Pictures do not do this dress justice... but here are a few! Like most of you, I have been doing a ton of research on photographers in Punta Cana. I got prices from a few & narrowed it down to what fit my budget. (Jorge Alloco & Michael Weiler) Both of them do nice work from what I can see. My only concern is that they both require payments in CASH. I dont know how I feel about that but FI (the banker that he is) is not happy with that idea at all. Has anyone used these guys before? I would like to hear some reviews to help me make a decision. Thanks Girls!

Is anyone using an outside florist in Punta Cana? I am wondering what their costs would be compared to going through the resort. Thanks!! =)

We are getting married Jan 18th, 2011 at Dreams Palm Beach. Save the Dates were sent out last week & guests are starting to book!!

I did a TON of research that helped me come to this decision. I think the biggest thing that moved us from DPC to DPB was the beach. I heard DPC's beach was not very nice & the water wasn't that "carribean blue." For most of my guests, this will be they're first & probably only time going somewhere tropical, so I wanted to make sure they were getting the best beach experience possible. PLUS, DPC is an hour from the airport! Last year me & Fi went to Jamaica & the worst part was the long drive to the resort after a long day on the plane. Since our guests are bringing children, the 20 min drive to DPB should be much more convenient. Plus DPB is a smaller resort, so it is more intimate, which I like. To top it all off, the WC is amazing. I've heard horror stories of girls not hearing back from the WC for weeks, even a month!! Yeisy has gotten back to me AND answered all of my questions within mins of my e-mails. Planning a wedding is stressful enough, no need for added stress!

I just sent in my deposit!! January 18th, 2011! i feel like a weight has been lifted off of me. Feels good to finally make a decision & the WC has been awesome! Time to start getting excited!

Sunandsand- We are undecided as of now. We thought we wanted to go with Dreams Punta Cana but I heard some reviews about their beach not being so great so now I am trying to research other resorts. Any info is appreciated =)

Hi Ladies! I am new to the forum & have tried to read through all the pages but there is so much! I apologize if you have already talked about this but does anyone have package information & extras (with prices) from the WC? I only have what is on the website & it seems like there is a lot of little things missing. My FI & I want to see how much the reception will actually cost us before we make a decision. I am turning to you girls first because I have heard how long it takes to get anything from the WC. I appreciate your help! Hi Girls! This whole ceremony thing has been stressing me out. First of all, for the legal (civil) ceremony, it is done is Spanish, right? I don't know how I feel about that. I feel like there would be no connection to the ceremony & it would lack it's romance. I've also heard it's kind of expensive to have the documents translated. Does anyone know? It sounds like the only perk to this ceremony is that it's legal. I did contact pastor York about a religious ceremony but I'm not sure how I feel about paying another $350 for his services on top of everything else (when it's not even considered legal!) Do you know if you can you have your own person perform the ceremony? What is everyone else doing!? I'm stuck!
